Clementine x Male Reader: Enemy Within

Chapter 2

Clem: "No, Y/N!"

Y/N: "I'm going whether you like it or not."

You pick up your rifle and strap it on your back. You load your pistol and holster it.

Clem: "Stop being like this. It's dangerous and you want to go out there again?"

You put your hands on her arms and look her in the eyes.

Y/N: "Yup."

You walk past her and leave the armory.

Clem: "It's just a crossbow. You're gonna-"

Y/N: "It's not just a crossbow! That was a gift to me, a special gift. I'm not just going to leave it out there."

Clem: "I know, but it's not worth killing yourself for it."

You see Louis walking by, pretending he doesn't notice the both of you.

Y/N: "Louis!"

He turns to you and acts surprised as he points at himself.

Y/N: "Yes you, moron. Who else is named Louis?"

He points at one of the little kids walking by.

Y/N: "Get over here!"

He walks over to the both of you.

Louis: "What's up?"

Y/N: "Keep her here. I'm going out."

Louis: "How am I supposed to do that?"

Y/N: "Figure it out."

You walk away from them. Louis looks at Clementine and she glares daggers at him. She runs over to you and stops you.

Clem: "Stop, Y/N."

Y/N: "I'm going, Clem."

Clem: "At least let me go with you."

Y/N: "Nope."

Clem: "What if something happens to you? What if-?"

You put your finger on her lips to keep her quiet. You pull her in by the waist and kiss her on the cheek. She's surprised and turns bright red.

Y/N: "Mary!"

You see Mary pass by and call her. She walks over to the both of you.

Y/N: "Where's Ellie?"

Mary: "I had to do something so I left her with Joseph."

Y/N: "Great. Keep her here for me." You say pointing at Clementine.

Mary: "Why?"

Y/N: "I'm going out to get something."

Mary: "By yourself?"

Y/N: "Yes, and she doesn't let me."

Mary: "She's got a reason."

You sigh and lean in to whisper something in her ear. You finish and she sighs as she looks at Clem.

Mary: "Come on, Clementine. Let's go."

Clem: "What!?"

Mary: "Let me talk to you."

She puts her arm around her and starts walking her away.

Y/N: "Thank you, Mary. Bye, Clem."

You form your hands into a heart and mouth "I'll be okay". She shakes her head in disapproval and keeps walking with Mary.

You walk through the woods while retracing your steps to where you dropped the crossbow. You start to remember the area and realize you're getting closer.
