Clementine x Male Reader: Enemy Within

Chapter 7

The three of you arrive at Sunset. You signal the guard to open the gate and drive inside.

William: "So this is Sunset?"

Y/N: "In all of its glory."

You park the truck and you all exit.

Y/N: "Let's head to the armory."

Carlos: "I'll be there in second. I want to check the turret."

Y/N: "Okay. Let's go, William."

You walk and lead him to the armory. You both enter and he looks around the room in amazement, like a kid inside a candy store.

Y/N: "See anything you like?"

William: "Yes, all of it. They don't have this much variety back in Harmony."

Y/N: "Well, we do here. Pick something out for you and Carlos."

He nods and you go your separate ways. You pick up your rifle and strap it on your back. You're about to pick up your 38. Super but leave it in its place. You rub the pistols in your holsters and walk around the armory.

Y/N: "So, William? How did you find that outpost?"

William: "Even though I live in Harmony, I like to travel from time to time. I find different communities and outposts, or anything else I can find."

Y/N: "Just by yourself?"

William: "Most of the time. There's been a few times when Carlos has gone with me, but it always ends in a fight."

Y/N: "I don't know why I expected less."

William: "I enjoy doing this, I find a lot of information and keep it to myself. I usually just tell people what they want to know for something in return."

You raise an eyebrow.

Y/N: "Really? So what do you want from me?"

He stops picking out the guns and turns around.

William: "Well, I haven't really thought about it." He says while rubbing his neck.

Y/N: "Tell you what, whichever gun you choose. I'll let you keep it."

His face lights up and turns back around. He grabs a Spaz-12 and cocks while pointing it at the air.

William: "This one!"

You smirk. The door opens and Carlos walks in.

Y/N: "What'd you find?"

Carlos: "The turret has no ammo and is useless right now. It takes .50 BMG. You have any, 'mano?"

You look under a table and pull out a box. You slide it over to Carlos and he inspects it.

Carlos: "Cien? Brother, do you want to kill them or tickle them?"

Y/N: "My supply of that caliber is very limited. We'll be okay with this."

Carlos: "Whatever, 'mano."

The door opens and Clementine walks in.

Clem: "What's going on?"

Carlos and William look at you and pretend to talk amongst each other.

Y/N: "Uh, we're going somewhere."

Clem: "You just got back from wherever the hell you went to, and now you're leaving again?"

You look at Carlos and William but they're not even looking your way.

Y/N: "We're gonna destroy an outpost, okay?"
