Chapter 18

You, Carlos, and Louis stand before the tall gate, waiting for it to open. Once they open, you all walk inside as Louis looks around in awe. You see a ton of people walking around while looking happy.

Louis: "Where are we gonna go?"

Carlos: "First, amigo. We go see the woman that made this possible."

You see him pointing at Meghan who is talking with other people. She notices all of you and excuses herself.

Meghan: "You made it!"

Carlos: "You think we would miss this?"

They shake hands and she looks at you.

Meghan: "Good to see you again, Mr. L/N."

Y/N: "Likewise, Meghan."

You shake her hand and she notices Louis.

Meghan: "Who's this?"

Y/N: "Meghan, this is my friend, Louis."

She looks at him and they shake hands.

Meghan: "Nice to meet you, Louis."

He nods and steps back.

Y/N: "I know you said only us two were invited, but I wanted to bring him along."

Meghan: "It's perfectly fine, Y/N."

Carlos: "Alright, Meghan. We're gonna go hangout for a bit, see you later."

Meghan: "Have fun."

Carlos puts his arms around you and Louis and starts walking.

Carlos: "Let's go see our favorite princess, brother."

Y/N: "... oh no."

Louis: "Who?"

Y/N: "A-A friend, Louis. A friend."

He drags the both of you to the bar and he kicks open the doors. You see Lesly look up and smile once she sees you. You walk over to her and you each sit down.

Lesly: "You're back."

Y/N: "I am."

Carlos: "I'm back too!"

She groans and starts cleaning the countertop.

Carlos: "Such an attitude, Lesly."

Lesly: "Only when you're around."

Carlos: "So I do have a special place in your heart?"

Lesly: "No, but you do have a special place in hell."

You laugh and she starts pouring drinks.

Lesly: "New friend?" She says as she sets down the drinks for everyone.

Y/N: "Not exactly. He's a friend I've known for a long time now."

She sticks out her hand for him.

Lesly: "Hi, I'm Lesly."

He takes her hand and then looks at you when he hears her name.

Y/N: "Yeah, I know. Say, hi."

Louis: "I'm Louis."

Lesly: "Nice to meet you."

Carlos: "Lesly."

He winks at her and she shakes her head.

Carlos: "Just one, for the rookies. Remember the bet."

Lesly: [sigh] "Fine. If anything happens, I'll kill you."
