Clementine x Male Reader: Enemy Within

Chapter 13

You see the werewolf howl one more time before it starts slowly walking towards you while staring into your soul.

You look at Clementine who looks paralyzed with fear and Carlos who looks terrified. You put your arms in front of them and whisper.

Y/N: "Back up, slowly."

You keep your eye contact with the wolf as it continues it's slow approach. You see the saliva drool from its sharp teeth and the moon light shining off of its sharp claws. It stops in its tracks and gets on its fours. Then it starts growling while not looking away from you.

Carlos: "Y-Y/N, it's gonna charge..."

Carlos is right and the wolf bolts towards you. You push them both out of the way and take the full impact of the wolf. It tries to claw at you while you block it but then decides to throw you against the truck.

Clem: "Y/N!"

It lunges at you again and tries to bite you this time but you grab a nearby rock and jam it into its mouth. You punch it on the side of the head until it backs away.

You see Carlos hit the wolf with a metal pipe but it does nothing. It focuses its full attention to Carlos and he drops the pipe.

Carlos: "H-Hey hey hey, let's calm down now..."

It swipes its arm at Carlos but he jumps out of the way. It tries to take a bite out of him while pinning him down but you jump on its back. It stops and throws you on the floor.

It swipes at you and you feel a sharp pain on your abdomen but you ignore it and roll out of the way. Carlos runs towards it but is met with a backhand from the wolf which sends him flying.

You see the wolf stare at Clementine who is on the floor in fear. You see it drool and walk towards her.

Y/N: "Clem!"

You see her crawling back in fear as the wolf gets closer. You pull out your pistols and start shooting at the wolf. Your wound starts hurting like hell and you miss all the shots except one.

You start staring at the moon and your body starts to ache in pain. Like if all your bones and muscles are being stretched.

You see the wolf look at you in rage for shooting it and charges at you. You ignore the pain and roll out of the way. You aim to shoot it again but it smacks the pistols out of your hand and gets on top of you. It starts hitting you with its massive arms while trying to take a bite each time.

Carlos jumps on the wolf and stops it from biting you. He has put his belt around his arm and sticks it into the wolf's mouth so it doesn't bite you. The wolf throws itself back and hits the truck. Carlos let's go in pain and you see the wolf backhand him in the face.

It looks back at Clementine who is now aiming her pistol at it. The wolf doesn't care and starts running towards her. You get up in time and tackle the wolf. It flips you on your back and holds you down while you move your head side to side to avoid being bitten.

Y/N: "Clem! Shoot!"

She continues staring at the wolf in fear and you see her hands shaking. The wolf smacks your arms to the side and bites down on your shoulder.

Y/N: "Ahh!"

Clem: "Y/N!"

She starts shooting at it and the wolf gets off of you. You hear it cry in pain and start backing up. Carlos gets up and starts shooting at it as well. It shows off its teeth one more time before it bolts into the woods.

Clem runs towards you and checks on you.

Clem: "Y/N! Are you okay? I'm so sorry!"

You hold your shoulder in pain and are only concentrating on the full moon. Carlos walks over to you and kneels down.

Carlos: "You okay, brother?"

He moves your hand a bit and sees the bite.

Carlos: "Mierda. Did it do anything else?"

You stop staring at the moon and lift your shirt up. They gasp when they see the large claw marks. Carlos stands up and rubs the back of his head while stressing out. Clementine lifts your upper body and holds you in her arms.

Clem: "I'm so sorry I didn't help..."

You see her eyes are watering and you start to sit up. You wipe the fallen tears away.

Y/N: "It's fine. At least I'm not dead."

Carlos: "What are we gonna do now, eh?"

Y/N: "Let's camp here for the night, we'll go back in the morning."

Carlos: "I'm not talking about that. You got bitten and scratched!"

Y/N: "So?"

Carlos: "You're gonna turn! That's how you become a werewolf!"

Clem looks at you worried and then back at Carlos with an angry look as she stands up. You slowly stand up after her.

Clem: "This would've never happened if it wasn't for you and your stupid truck!"

Carlos: "This wouldn't have happened if you had helped!"

She goes to slap him but you grab her arm and stand in between them.

Y/N: "Enough!"

You push them away from each other and look at Carlos.

Y/N: "I'm fine, alright? I'm not gonna turn into a fucking werewolf, Carlos. Use your head."

Carlos: "You were mocking me the whole time about me believing in a werewolf! Now look at who appeared!"

Y/N: "It's... look, I'm sorry for making fun of you Carlos. Can you just go and get the first aid kit from the truck? I left it in there."

Carlos: "Sure, 'mano. I listen to you but you don't listen to me..."

Y/N: "Carlos."

He waves you off and goes to retrieve the first aid kit.

Clem: "Asshole..."

Y/N: "Enough, Clem."

Clem: "Alright, sorry."

You walk over to one of the tents and sit inside of it. Clementine sits down next to you.

Clem: "No fire?"

Y/N: "You wanna go out there and get the wood?"

Clem: "No..."

Y/N: "Exactly."
