Chapter 34

Lesly POV

You drive your car through the dirt road. It's nighttime but you decide to not keep your lights bright. Once you get close, you park the car in the woods and make your way down the small hill. You see Sunset as you make your way down, this is your first time here and you didn't think it was this big.

You reach the side of Sunset's wall and approach the entrance that Louis told you about. You pull out the radio.

Lesly: "Louis?"

You wait a bit for a response.

Louis: "Yeah?"

Lesly: "I'm here."

Louis: "Okay, just remove the nails and you should be good. I'll be there in a sec."

You put the radio away and start to pry off the nails with your knife. You noticed they were already loosened so it wasn't much work. Once you remove them, you move the board to the side.

You see someone fall right in front of the hole and you draw your pistol. The person looks up and you see that it's Louis.

Lesly: "The hell?"

You crawl in as he stands up and wipes himself off.

Louis: "Sorry, I uh... tripped."

You roll your eyes as you shake your head.

Louis: "Follow me."

He puts the board back in place and starts silently walking behind the houses. He stops and takes cover behind the wall of a nearby house. You do the same as you both hear guards walking by. You wait for a bit until he signals you to keep following him.

You both reach a big house and Louis slowly opens the back door. He motions you inside and quietly closes it behind you.

You look around the house and notice how neat it is.

Lesly: "Nice place."

Louis: "It's more enjoyable when you have it to yourself. Come on."

He leads you into the living room.

Louis: "Clem!"

The door to a room in the back opens and you see the girl from before, Y/N's girlfriend. She looks surprised when she sees you.

Clem: "How'd you get in here?"

Louis: "I brought her. How's Vi?"

She shakes her head. Louis looks down and sighs.

Lesly: "What's going on?"

Louis: "Zelus, the bastard, is playing mind games with everyone."

Lesly: "It's only him?"

Louis: "Him and another ally of his, an escaped prisoner of Sunset. Like I said before, he's bringing The Maulers to Sunset very soon now, my guess it's probably tomorrow. Who knows what they'll do when they arrive." He says while crossing his arms.

Clem: "Are you gonna help us?"

You glance at the both of them as they wait for your response.

Lesly: "I actually... have bad news."

Clem: "What is it?"

Lesly: "I talked to Meghan about what's happening, she won't help."

Louis puts his hands on his face as he paces around. You see Clementine's mood drop as worry fills her.

Louis: "What the hell are we gonna do now?"

Clem: "Why come then? Why risk your life when you could've just told us this through the radio?" She says, her voice getting more stern.
