Chapter 26

Y/N POV

You're in the armory with Clem, Violet, Louis, Joseph, and Mary.

Y/N: "Look for blood trails inside the houses. It could maybe lead us somewhere."

Joseph: "There are none, the person wiped the blood on the bodies."

You lean on the counter while crossing your arms and sighing.

Y/N: "Carlos hasn't come back either."

Everyone in the room looks stressed. Clem starts rubbing your arm to try to calm you down.

Y/N: "I'm supposed to go to Harmony today."

Joseph: "What for?"

Y/N: "If The Maulers try to start a war or something, we're gonna need help."

You hear one of the radios turn on and static starts to come from it. It then turns to panicked breathing.

Radio: "Hello? Hello?"

You hear a woman speak. Joseph grabs it and speaks.

Joseph: "This is Sunset. Who's this?"

Woman: "Please, help. They're attacking Harmony!"

Y/N: "Give it to me."

You take the radio from Joseph and speak.

Y/N: "Who's attacking Harmony?"

You hear the woman scream and the radio cuts off.

Y/N: "Hello? Hello? Shit."

Clem: "What are you gonna do?"

Y/N: "We have to help. Joseph, get an army ready at the gate."

He nods and quickly kisses Mary before he runs out.

Louis: "I'll help him too."

You nod and he runs out as well.

Y/N: "Come on."

Clem and Violet follow you but Mary stops you.

Mary: "Be safe, and bring him back safely."

You nod and walk out of the armory.

Y/N: "Violet, you and Mary are in charge."

She nods and splits off from you.

Radio: "Hello?"

You hear a deep voice that makes you and Clem stop in your tracks.

Y/N: "Who's this?"

There's a short pause before the person speaks again.

Radio: "I guess I was wrong, you aren't here."

Y/N: "Who are you?"

Radio: "You don't recognize my voice? I'm sure you remember that time when I bashed your face with my revolver."

You recall that time and realize it's the cloaked figure. Clem remembers him and her eyes widen.

Zelus: "I'm waiting for you here at Harmony, Y/N."

Y/N: "Why are you attacking them?"

Zelus: "I came for you, turns out you're not here."

Y/N: "How would you even know I would be there?"

Zelus: "I took a guess. Come, Y/N. Or all these people will pay the price, including Lesly."

Your heart drops and your eyes widen.
