Carlos parks the car and you all sit in silence. You sit up and look at Carlos and Louis.

Y/N: "Not a word of this to anyone."

They nod and you sit back.

Carlos: "You still got more weed?"

Y/N: "Finished it."

Carlos: "You could've shared..."

Y/N: "I know, but I have problems of my own."

Carlos: "You should've asked Lesly for more."

You lean your head back.

Y/N: "We're not on the best of terms."

Carlos: "What did you do?"

You look at Carlos and Louis.

Y/N: "Nothing. Let's go."

You all get out of the car and start walking away. Carlos puts his hand on your shoulder.

Carlos: "I'm gonna go to sleep."

He pats you on the back and walks away. You then look over at Louis.

Louis: "Yeah, me too." He says while rubbing his eyes.

You nod and he walks away as well. You walk over to your house and see Clementine on your porch.

Clem: "Well, look who it is. The man that leaves his girlfriend to go out drinking." She says with a laugh.

Y/N: "Shut up." You say as you sit next to her.

Clem: "How was it?"

Y/N: "It was... cool."

Clem: "How much did you drink?"

Y/N: "I don't know, Clem." You say tiredly.

Clem: "Someone's tired."

Y/N: "You have no idea. Where's Ellie?"

Clem: "She's with Mary. You should get some sleep. Come on."

She stands up and drags you inside your house.

You sit on the porch with Ellie on your lap. You play with her and her toys.

Y/N: "When are you gonna start talking, baby? You're... two and a half. I was already causing a ruckus at your age."

She looks up at you and starts tapping you with her toy on your face.

Y/N: "You're gonna do the same?"

She smiles and touches your face.

Y/N: "Please tell me that's a no."

You lean back and rock her up and down with your leg.

Y/N: "I know I don't spend as much time with you as I'd like, but I'm trying. I am working to keep everyone safe, to keep you safe. So you can live a good life, the best you can in this shitty world."

You lift her up and look at her.

Y/N: "I love you, Ellie. And nothing's gonna change that.

You kiss her on the cheek and sit her back down. You then see Mary and Joseph walking over.

Mary: "Hey, Y/N."

Y/N: "Hey."

They sit down next to you.

Y/N: "What's up?"

Mary: "We have something to tell you."

Y/N: "Is it bad?"
