Chapter 25

Zelus POV

You load more bullets into your revolver and desert eagle. You holster your pistols and clap your hands to get everyone's attention.

Zelus: "As you all know, we will be attacking Harmony. I expect all of you to follow your orders from your leaders, me and Jason. Jason, of course, will be leading The Maulers. Thanks to Carlos, we now have a familiar sense of the layout. Jason and his Maulers will breach through the back entrance of the community. I will lead the M1's through the front. We will take everyone hostage and search every building for Y/N L/N. I know we are all aching to kill him, but for now, we will keep him alive. The purpose of this is to show him who we really are, we will show him the people he'll meet his demise to. After we... show him, feel free to let loose on anyone there. He plans on using them as allies, we plan on crippling him. Remember, follow your orders, and you might live."

The men disperse and you look at Jason.

Zelus: "Get your men into the trucks."

He nods and looks at Carlos as he walks past him.

Jason: "Benchwarmer."

Carlos: "Come mierda-"

Zelus: "Enough, gentlemen."

You wave Jason off and put your hand on Carlos's shoulder.

Zelus: "Do this right, I'm counting on you. He's counting on you."

Carlos nods and you pat him on the back as you walk away. You enter one of the trucks and stick your upper body out.

Zelus: "Let's ride, gentlemen!"

Carlos POV

You get into one of the trucks and drive out of the M1 base. You head to Sunset while driving on the bumpy road. You're surprised at how similar but so different Zelus is to Y/N. Kind of like the opposite of each other.

You drive for a while, thinking to yourself. You do that as you mow down the walkers on the road. You turn on the windshield wipers to wipe the blood off. You keep mowing them down as you laugh at how fun it is.

You finally get close to Sunset and park in the woods to avoid being seen. The spot you chose is very discreet but gives you a good view of Sunset. You lay your seat back and wait until it's your time.

Zelus POV

Jason and The Maulers have already separated from you and went towards the south side of Harmony. You can see the gate as you get closer and closer. You pull out your radio and hold down the button.

Zelus: "It's showtime, gentlemen."

You speed up and so do the trucks behind you. You ram into the gates, opening them while your men swarm into the community. You get out of the truck and shoot your rifle in the air as you hear and see people run and scream. You see them try to run towards the back entrance of the community but are blocked off once The Maulers enter. Some of the people shoot at you but your men take care of them. More of them start shooting but get mowed down instantly.

The Maulers and your men surround the people and force them to surrender. The men make them all drop to their knees as they watch you all in horror.

Zelus: "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We are... tonight's entertainment. I only have one question: Where is Y/N L/N?"

You look at the scared people as they stay quiet.

Lesly POV

You sneak behind one of two men in an apartment hallway. You break the man's neck and throw your knife into the other one's throat as he turns around. You enter one of the rooms and close the door behind you. You see a woman and her son huddled on the couch.
