Chapter 19

Lesly POV

You watch as Y/N walks through the crowd while holding himself. You look at Carlos but he shrugs his shoulders and continues watching the show. You shake your head as you push through the crowd and follow him.

You slowly walk behind him while calling his name a few times but he doesn't hear you. God, you haven't said his name this many times since the last time he came.

You follow him outside of the community and watch as he struggles to walk. "Why would he leave?" you think to yourself. You keep following him for a while until he reaches a cliff. You see him stare at his hands as if he's hurting. He then yanks his shirt and hoodie off, revealing his scarred muscular back. He drops to his knees and you watch in horror as you see him grunt and moan in pain.

You then hear him start to almost growl and start hitting the ground. You put your hand on your gun as you slowly start backing away. You look down and see your hand shaking. You look back up and see that Y/N is standing with his back to you while staring at the moon.

You try to pull out your pistol but drop it because of your shaking hand. He immediately turns around and scans the area in search of the noise. You hide behind a tree while you cover your mouth to keep yourself from making any noise.

You peak your head out of the tree and see him looking around. He finally looks at your direction and you quickly take cover. He lets out a growl-like screech and you peak out again only to make eye contact with him. You see his eyes are bloodshot red and you realize he's about to charge at you. You quickly grab your pistol and bolt away from him. You hear him chasing after you and you do your best to avoid any logs, branches, and trees while running.

You let out a shot in the air to let him know you're armed before once again taking cover behind a giant fallen tree. You peak out and scan the area for any sign of him. You don't see him so you ditch cover and continue running towards Harmony.

You don't pay attention and are tackled from the side by him. He pins you down and you struggle, fighting him back with your legs and arm. You put your pistol up to his chest, but he swipes it to the side causing you to let out two shots. You then push the hot barrel of your pistol into his solar plexus while sending a knee to his groin. He swipes the gun away from you before jumping off of you while holding himself in pain and lets out another loud growl. You quickly crawl on your hands and knees towards the pistol. You get on your knee and aim your pistol, but you don't see him anymore. You look around and realize he's gone. You quickly get up and run back to Harmony.

Carlos POV

The show finishes and you see people walk away from the stage to do other things. You see William sitting in a chair while asleep. You put your hand on Louis's shoulder and point at William.

Carlos: "Let's go see my friend..."

He drunkenly nods and you walk over to William.

Carlos: "William!"

He doesn't move and continues to sleep. You look at Louis with a devilish grin and motion him to stay quiet. You take a step back and kick the chair over. William immediately wakes up as soon as he hits the floor.

You and Louis burst out in laughter. William groans and stands up while patting himself down.

William: "Fuck you..."

Carlos: "I'm back, amigo!"

You do your handshake and William looks at Louis.

William: "Howdy, partner."

Louis: "Ha... you sound like Ruby..." He starts laughing but then quiets down when he realizes what he said.

William: "What?"

Carlos: "Don't mind him. He's a little out of it."

Louis slowly lays on the ground and looks up at the sky.

William: "A little?"

Carlos: "Moonshine Magic, amigo!"

You both laugh and you see Lesly coming in through the back exit of the community. She walks towards you and you raise your hands.

Carlos: "Lesly! Where-?"

She pushes past you and continues walking.

Carlos: "¿Que te pasa, loca?"

She ignores you and keeps walking. William looks at you confused.

William: "What did you do?"

Carlos: "Nothing."

William: "Sure. Did Y/N come with you?"

Carlos: "Yes. He's..."

You look around but you don't see any sign of him.

Carlos: ".... I don't know where he is."

Lesly POV

You barge into your apartment and close the door behind you. You sit against the door and catch your breath. You can't believe he would attack you when you did nothing. You put your hands on your face and try to calm down. You remove the clip off of your pistol and check your bullets. One left. You put the clip back in and pull the hammer back.

Lesly: "Liar..."
