Chapter 36

Zelus walks up to you as he grins.

Zelus: "Louis. What brings you here?"

Lucy pulls away from you and backs away to be as far as possible from him.

Louis: "Nothing."

Zelus: "Nothing? Well, it looks like you're messing around with Lucy over there..."

He winks at her but she looks away.

Louis: "She doesn't deserve this. None of these people do."

Zelus: "Deserve what? What have I done to her? As far as I'm concerned, she's been a good girl. Isn't that right, Lucy?"

You look back at her as you see a few tears fall from her eyes.

Zelus: "Lucy, baby, come here."

She looks at you terrified.

Zelus: "Lucy, come here. I won't tell you again."

She glances between the both of you before taking a few steps. You put your arm in front her and stop her.

Louis: "That's enough. She's not yours, you're not gonna make her do anything."

He squints his eyes at you before bursting into laughter. He looks back at Mary.

Zelus: "Would you look at that, Mary? The clown here finally grew a pair!"

He takes a few steps, now closer to your face.

Zelus: "You're forgetting who's in charge here..."

He uppercuts you in the stomach, dropping you to a knee. He knees you in the face to make you look up and punches you. You lay on the floor and he walks over you and towards Lucy.

Zelus: "When I tell you to do something, you do it."

He forcefully grabs her arm and walks her over to the guards. You slowly get up from the floor as he stares at you.

Zelus: "God, Y/N is such a pussy! I don't know how anyone can stand you. I would have killed you a long time ago."

Mary: "Leave them alone!"

He turns back to her as his mood changes to anger. He roughly grabs her by the back of her neck and pulls her closer.

Zelus: "Or what Mary? What's gonna happen if I don't? You gonna call your bastard of a boyfriend? You gonna call Y/N? You're a liability, you and the other women here are the same. You're only purpose is to clean and have kids-"

She quickly slaps him across the face. The guards force her on her knees as Zelus takes a step back. He pulls his leg back and is about to kick her.

Louis: "No!"

You rush Zelus and tackle him to the floor. He punches you in the face, which hurts a lot more. You fall next to him and he stands up. You take a look at his hand and see that he had hit you with brass knuckles.

He grabs you by your coat and pulls you up. He sends a hard jab to your face but still holds on to your coat to keep you from falling.

Zelus: "Who do you think you are!?" He says with rage in his voice.

He punches you a few more times before he throws you down. You try to crawl away on all fours but he pulls you up again. He sends you towards the window and makes your head crash through it. You now have a large gash on your face and more cuts as he pulls you back from the window.

He quickly sends a left hook to your body and a right hook to your face. He grabs you by the back of your coat and launches you toward the desk. You hit the desk and use it to stop you from flying over it. You lean on it to catch your breath as you hear his heavy breaths.
