Chapter 35

Y/N POV

Y/N: "Lesly?"

You see her lower her pistol and you move in to hug her. She waits a while before she decides to hug you back. You pull away and she quickly slaps you across the face.

Lesly: "The hell's wrong with you?"

Y/N: "Ugh, I never realized a kick to the nuts and a slap was a way to greet an old friend."

Lesly: "You did it again!"

Y/N: "I know, I know. I'm sorry, I thought you were one of them coming after me."

Lesly POV

You head to the car and turn it off. You then follow Y/N inside the school.

Lesly: "That still doesn't explain your eyes."

Y/N: "What about them?."

Lesly: "They're redder than hell."

Y/N: "I... I don't know, Lesly."

You can hear the obvious confusion through his tone as he sits down on the steps with his hand on his head. You sit next to him on the steps and he begins to light the fire when he sees you rubbing your hands together.

Y/N: "Why are you out here?"

Lesly: "I came looking for you."

Y/N: "And you chose to come here?"

Lesly: "Clementine told me you would probably be here."

Y/N: "Clem? How is she?"

Lesly: "That's why I came to find you..."

Y/N: "What do you mean? What happened?" He says getting visibly more worried.

Lesly: "The person who raided Harmony about a month ago..."

Y/N: "My imposter? What did he do?"

Lesly: "His name is Zelus. He took over Sunset and is tormenting everyone there to find you."

You see him stare into the fire as he stays silent.

Lesly: "Her and Louis called me for help. Zelus is bringing The Maulers to Sunset, it's not gonna end well for them."

Y/N: "W-What about Carlos? Where is he? I told him to protect them."

Lesly: "He visited Harmony a week ago. No one has seen him since."

He rubs his face as he looks down.

Lesly: "I told Meghan about what was happening, she refused to help."

He nods his head.

Y/N: "I figured she would still be mad."

Lesly: "She's been out of it for the past month. She's still furious about them attacking Harmony, but more about Jason."

Y/N: "Jason, The Maulers?"

You nod.

Lesly: "They used to be married."

You see his eyes widen as he stares into the flames. You look into the fire as well and sit in silence for a bit.

Y/N: "How's Ellie?"

Lesly: "I haven't seen her, Louis helped me sneak into Sunset so I could talk to them in person. As far as I know, she's doing fine. Y/N, it's hell for them..."

He takes a deep breath and rubs his hands together.

Y/N: "You snuck into Sunset? You risked getting yourself killed?"
