Chapter 20

Carlos POV

You walk through the woods with Louis, William, and Lesly. You're dealing with a hangover from last night but are pushing through it. You notice Lesly is on high alert with her pistol ready. She's been acting weird since she told you that Y/N was missing. You slow your pace down and walk next to her.

Carlos: "You okay?"

Lesly: "I'm fine." She says coldly.

You continue walking with her as you look around the woods.

Carlos: "I know I mess with you a lot, but you're acting different. What's wrong?"

Lesly: "We'll see..."

You see William and Louis start jogging up to a big rock. You see William pop his head out and signal you both over.

Y/N POV

You slowly open your eyes as you hear someone shout your name. You open your eyes and see that it's Louis shaking you awake. Your body forces you to lunge at him. Once you're on top of him, you hear shouting and are pulled off by Carlos and William. They sit you on the ground and you see Lesly aiming her pistol at you. She looks emotionless and you swear she's about to shoot you.

Carlos: "Calm down, brother."

You take the time to catch your breath. You look around and realize you're in the woods. You look at Louis who looks scared.

Y/N: "S-Sorry..."

You look down and see that you're only wearing your pants and your boots. Your shirt and hoodie is missing.

William: "The hell happened to you?"

Y/N: "I-I... I was drunk... I don't remember coming out here though."

Carlos: [sigh] "Come on, lightweight."

Carlos and Louis help you up and Carlos pats you on the back.

Carlos: "Where's your shirt?"

You look down.

Y/N: "I don't know, must've lost it."

Carlos: [chuckle] "Lesly, you better look away before you get any ideas."

She looks at Carlos unamused. She then looks around and starts walking away.

Carlos: "Where are you going?"

She walks until she reaches the cliff. She picks up your shirt and hoodie and starts walking back. She throws the clothes at you once she reaches you.

Lesly: "Let's go."

You're all confused at her tone and demeanor. You all follow her back to Harmony as you put your clothes on. You keep walking while talking amongst each other until you see Lesly stop. You all stop as well.

Carlos: "What's wrong?"

You all start hearing the sounds of growls and snarls of walkers. You look ahead and see a horde of walkers.

William: "Shit."

Louis: "We should go around."

Carlos pats him on the back and you all head into the trees. You walk as a group with Lesly in the back this time. A walker shows up in front of you, but Carlos throws his tomahawk at it. He picks it up and continues moving. You decide to slow down and match Lesly's pace.

Y/N: "You alright? You seemed different back there."

Lesly: "I could say the same to you..."

Y/N: "I guess I couldn't hold my alcohol this time."
