Madison.

This should be fun.

Seeing Dixie interested in someone else after Ashley was exciting for all of us. They had a really intense relationship, I knew Dixie believed Ashley was the love of her life. The people Dixie had been with after Ashley were all one time things, so quick Claudia and I didn't even get to know their name. So, obviously I was excited about my friend actually talking to someone before kissing them and disappearing, and I wanted to help.

"Look, I have to go talk to Charli, I'll see you guys around?" Dixie asked, getting up and looking at Charli, who was with her friends, Chase had just arrived.

"Ok." Claudia and I said, watching as she walked away.

"Do you think she'll kiss (Y/N) and run away like she's done the past times?" Claudia asked me.

"I hope not, I'm not saying they'll fall in love, but maybe she'll stop answering Ashley's booty calls." I shrugged.

"I hope so. I don't like that girl." My friend sighed.

"She did almost fight you once." I raised my eyebrows.

"Oh, I would've ended her." Claudia said, making me laugh.

"With those arms?" I picked on one of her arms, making her laugh and pull away.

"They're stronger than they look." She retorted.

"I could take you down, and that says a lot." I giggled.

"You wish." She replied, hugging me tightly as I laughed.

"See? Strong arms!" Claudia said on my ear as we hugged, her scent invading me as I laid my head on her shoulder.

"Oh, I'm so scared of your deadly hugs!!" I said in an ironic tone, still laughing as she held me.

"As you should." She replied and pulled back, looking into my eyes.

Looking at her, I smiled. Claudia and I have been friends since I can remember, she had my back when I didn't even realize I needed it, and I understood her in a way it made me kinda scared. She was one of the only people I felt like were going to be with me forever.

She smiled at me and breathed slowly, we looked at each other and I felt my heart race, she'd always looked at me like that and it had always made me feel the same weird way. I looked down at her smile and sighed, we didn't say anything for a while.

"So.... you'll tell me how it went with (Y/N)?" Claudia broke the silence, looking down, I bit my lip.

"Wanna come over to study? I'll tell you then. We can decide if she's a good catch together." I replied.

"Ok, I'll be there." She nodded.

The bell rang and we went to our classes, Biology was my first one, I made sure to be the first to arrive and went to talk to the teacher.

"Hey, Mr. Blake, could I possibly be (Y/N)'s pair? She's new and I'm trying to make her feel welcome, you know." I explained, Mr. Blake nodded and told me how nice it was of me to be so warm and welcome, I raised an eyebrow and smirked as I sat on my new table, waiting for my new partner to arrive.

She arrived shortly after I sat down, raising an eyebrow when she saw me.

"Uh.... Hi." She smiled awkwardly, sitting next to me.

"Hey! I'm Madison, Mr. Blake switched me with your partner." I explained, smiling warmly.

"Oh, ok. I'm (Y/N)." She greeted me.

"You're new on the soccer team, right? I'm on the cheerleading team." I said.

"Yeah, my first game with the whole team is today." She told me.

"I guess we'll see each other on the field pretty often then." I smiled, biting my lip, she looked at me intensely, her eyes analyzing my face, I blushed for a second.

"I hope so." She said simply, making the red tone return to my face. Her eyes became glued to mine as I tried to put myself back together.

"But I should warn you that I'm really bad at Biology." She broke the silence.

"Then you're in luck, because I'm great at it." I replied. She jut smiled at me, still looking inside my eyes, I didn't get why I was so nervous or why the words were failing to leave my mouth, I had done that before, and it wasn't hard.

"So, do you have many friends already?" I saw myself asking. Smooth, Madison, very smooth...

"A couple girls from the team came to talk to me yesterday, they were pretty nice, the captain even walked me home." She said. Oh, interesting, I can work with that.

"Dixie?" I asked, pretending I didn't know.

"Yeah, I watched her play yesterday and she really earns the title of captain, you know." (Y/N) commented.

"Yeah she's got talent. I suppose you'll make a great team, then." I replied, looking into her eyes harder than she was looking into mine, or at least trying. How does she do that?

"I hope we do." She raised an eyebrow, making me smirk.

"Don't tell Dixie I said this, but she's been a little distant from the team since she broke up with her girlfriend." I told her, she raised another eyebrow, looking interested.

"Does her girlfriend go here?"

"She used to, but she got expelled, it really messed with Dixie's head." I explained, noticing her interest grow.

"How so?" (Y/N) questioned, leaning closer to me.

"It's complicated, but I'm a little glad she isn't around anymore, Dixie's too good for someone like her." I shrugged.

"I get that, I've been there." She simply said.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked, more suddenly than I wished.

"Why? Interested?" (Y/N) chuckled, making me roll my eyes.

"You just look like you know how it feels to be in a bad relationship." I retorted, leaning closer to her. I'm not scared of you and your... judging eyes.

"You could say that, but I've never been in a relationship." She replied.

"So how do you know?"

"It's complicated." She simply said. Sketchy...

We'd been talking throughout the whole class, and Mr. Blake didn't seem to care, he never did, so it wasn't surprising to realise how much we talked only when the bell rang.

"I'll see you later?" I asked, getting up.

"Probably." She smirked, moving her eyes from mine to run through my face and body.

I shook my head and left the classroom before I could get any more nervous. I wish I could've gotten more out of her. Actually, I felt like she had gotten more from me than I did from her. Even though I didn't really understand what she did that made me nervous, I had met people like her, she has a way with how she moves, specially with how she looks at you, and to me, that was a red flag. She knew how to portray herself, that's certain. People like that are always hiding something.

Dixie.

Class went by slowly that day. I was worried about Charli, I knew how she felt in situations like the one Chase put her in. I was trying to make sure she wouldn't have to talk to him, but I couldn't do that when we were in different classes. I hoped she was ok.

A class before lunch, Madison came up to me and pulled me by the arm.

"Hey, I'm going to be late!" I complained.

"Well, I can't tell you what I know at lunch because your little crush will be there." My friend explained.

"She's not my... Oh just spill it."

(Y/N)'S POV will probably on the next chapter or the one after that xx
