You woke up softly. The sun was already shining in your eyes. As your eyes are softly opening, you see white eyes looking at you, with a beautiful blue-lipped smile.

"Good morning, tiger.", she says sweetly.

"Good morning, gorgeous. Did you just call me tiger?", you asked groggily, snuggling closer to her.

"Mmmhmm. Just because I'm not in control doesn't mean I can't see what you and Caity are up to.", she says with a wink.

You just smile knowingly. "I have no clue what you're talking about.", you say with a grin.

"Oh really?", she asks, her grin changing to a mischievous one. She moves a bit closer, puts her leg over your hip, and gets up in your face. "I can show you what I'm talking about. I am just a little bit jealous of your little date yesterday with Caity."

"Really? So you want a date as well? That can be arranged.", you whisper.

She's about to roll you over but you hear the buzzing of your cellphone. You kiss her softly. "Hold that thought."

You turn over and see Cisco's name on the screen.

"Cisco?"

"Y/N. We're gonna need you and Caitlin today. The mayor's holding a ball this evening. You two need to get dressed because you're going in, classy civilian style. The rest of us will be following up on some leads to find Cicada. You're going in for undercover protection, just in case."

"Dude, are you sure? Shouldn't we be helping you guys out?"

"Then who will protect the mayor and the people at the ball? No way, Y/N. It'll be a good way to test out some of your powers in case things go haywire."

"I don't even have a suit."

"Rent one. S.T.A.R. Labs will cover it."

"Alright, man. If you're sure."

"Definitely. Good luck you two."

You hang up and turn to Frost. "Tell you what Frosty. You'll be getting your date. Come on. We need to suit up."

"I didn't mean crime-fighting.", she says.

"Neither did I. Well, partly. I'll explain soon. Come on.", you go ahead and kiss her, then get up.

She groans a bit, not really wanting to get up.

"This date better be worth it.", she mumbled.

You just smiled to yourself. You were gonna make it worth it.

Timeskip to you two having rented your clothing separately.

"Come on, Frosty. We might be running late.", you say, leaning next to the door. You were all dressed up in one of the nicest tux outfits you had seen. Frost was adamant about not showing her outfit until she was ready.

"Almost done! Don't rush me, Y/N!", she yelled from inside.

After a couple more minutes the door opened. "Close your eyes!", she said. You rolled your eyes and closed them.

You heard the clicking of heels on the floor for a couple of seconds.

"Okay. You can open them now." When you opened your eyes you were taken by surprise to say the least.

There she was. Frost. Her hair done in slight curls to the front of her face on one side. A dark blue glittery dress which was very stylish and seemed to fit her like a glove. The side of one leg was showing because of an opening to the side of the dress. Under it she wore these beautiful high heeled shoes, which had the same color as the dress. You could've been drooling.

"Hey. Earth to Y/N. What do you think?"

You looked her in the eyes. "I-i don't know how to...Wow. Just wow. Look at you!" You stammered as you walked to her, putting your hands in her.

"Do I look good enough for the ball?"

"Frosty, that dress should be happy to be worn by you. No one could wear it better! People will literally turn green when they'll look at you!"

At that, she smiled and pecked you on the cheek.

"Thanks, handsome. So shall we get going?", she said, you following her hand in hand. You felt like the luckiest man alive.

Timeskip until you arrive at the ball

You both got to the venue, you had both ordered a cab. When you got out, you held your hand out for your gorgeous girlfriend. She got out and you could see on her face that she was enjoying being treated like this.

"Why, thank you, handsome.", she said, her blue glistening lips curved into a smile.

You looked at City Hall, it was completely adorned with banners, lights, a red carpet, and everything.

"Man. They did not cut any expenses on this one.", you said.

"Well, it is for the mayor's first year as mayor, so I see why they wouldn't.", she says.

"Let's keep our eyes out. Just in case.", you say. You turn around and see her pout.

"But I thought this was a date.", she says childishly.

"It still is. We'll just have to keep an eye out during it.", you say to her as you offer her your elbow. She puts her arm around it.

"Fine.", she says.

"Don't worry.", you whisper into her ear. "I'm not gonna waste this date."

She giggled softly at that.

As you both walk over the red carpet and you go in, you are offered some champagne and orange juice. She takes the champagne, whilst you take some orange juice.

"What, not into alcohol tonight?", she jokes.

"Nah. Never really been into alcohol. Besides, if you drink too much, I'll have to carry you home. I'd rather not be drunk for that.", you laugh.

You both went inside the main hall and saw this huge ballroom, with people in suits and dresses all around you.

"Let's just have a quick look around together. Then we come back here in a few.", you say.

"Let's get over the job part as soon as we can. I want that date.", Frost says while putting an arm around your back and pecking you on the cheek.

You smile and split up, looking for any possible clues or things that might be happening around during the ball.
