The Plan

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I know what you're going through. I had the same thing happen to me with Savitar.", Barry said, sitting down in front of the pipeline cell I was now in.

"Will she wake up?", you asked, coldly.
He hesitated.

"We're not sure. But what you've done today...I'm not sure if we can ever release you. That's not how we work."

"Too bad.", you responded. "He should've left her alone.

A week earlier

You were out in the shopping centre with Frost again.

"We still need few things for dinner.", she said.

"Alright. You go ahead and get everything. I'll see about getting lunch in this place."

She held you and kissed you deeply.

"I love you.", she said.
"I love you too, snowflake.", you responded.

Her face changed to a surprised smile.

"Snowflake? Really?
"I thought it was a cute name.", you said.
"I like it.", she whispered. She started walking away and smiling at you.

This was it. Your only chance. You had been scoping out the place for a while now. This was the only way you could pull this off.

You went inside the store, went right up to the counter.

"Y/N L/N. I had an appointment. I just got away from her long enough to get this done."

The lady behind the counter looke over her glasses at you.
"Don't be nervous, dear. You've picked out an amazing model for her and she won't notice a thing."
The lady went to the back for a while before bringing your purchase back.

A ring. You had finally saved up a bit from odd jobs and helping around at S.T.A.R. Labs, enough to buy her this ring.

The ring had an actual snowflake motof over it, where the center of each one contained a small diamond.

"This is perfect!", you said.

"Gotta be a special lady who's getting this ring."

"You know it! She's amazing, to say the least."

The ring was put in a small box and handed to you. You instantly syored it safely away in your inner pocket of your jacket, close to your heart.

"Have a nice day!"
"You too!", you responded.

You just walked out, making sure Frost didn't see you. Mission succesful. You walked further into the halls, finding her a ways further. You waved at her from afar, which prompted her to smile and hurry up towards you.

"Hey. Did you find something for lunch?", she asked sweetly.

"I found a nice little cafe not far from here. We could get a sandwhich there?", you asked.

She was non the wiser. You had pulled it off.

As you picked a table at the café, seating her first, then sitting down next to her.

"Always the cheesy gentleman.", she said sweetly.

You both ordered some food and drinks and spent the afternoon there.

"Y/N?", she asked all of a sudden.
"Yeah?"
"Can I ask you something weird?"
"Go ahead."
"It's about your trial..."

You stopped drinking. You felt pain well up.

"Okay.", was all you could muster.
