You slowly lowered down in front of the bridge on your board. It immediately dissipated as you touched down on the ground. You walked under the bridge. You had taken some time to wait so it was now nighttime.

Sure enough, some homeless people were hunkering down for the night. One of them, a young boy pointed to you as his parents pulled him closer, as if shielding him.

"Listen. I'm not here to harm anyone."

"Tell that to the people you murdered last night.", a woman scoffed at me.

I sighed loudly. Whoever had done this, has truly brought fear to the core of these people.

"It wasn't me. It must be someone else. Wearing the same type of armor like me. I promise."

"Considering you killed that man at the airport, we find that hard to believe."

The woman was, in a sense, right. You sat down on the opposite side of the bridge.

"Look. What happened there was...wrong."

You desummoned your helmet, pieces of it clicking backwards as you did, revealing your face.

"That man had just killed someone I cared about. And he was about to do the same to my fiancé. I lost my temper."

You looked the woman straight in the eyes.

"But I promise you, what happened here last night? I didn't do that."

Another voice spoke up.

"Correct. I did."

You looked over to see almost a reflection of your armor standing there. It's accents and it's eyes having  a very red shine.

He pointed his arm towards the woman and child, summoning a blade, whooshing through the air at them.

You immediately jumped up and ran in front of them, summoning a shield to deflect the blade.

"Go!", you yelled back at them.

The woman took her child in her arms and rallied the other people away as you summoned your helmet again and rushed forward.

You summoned a greatsword as your adversary locked blades with you.

"Who are you?", you yelled.

As your blades had now locked, you had a closer look. The resemblance of the armor to yours was uncanny.

"Just another player of the game.", he said with a cool tone.

You pushed him away and awaited his next strike.

"This isn't the game anymore! These are real people. You can't just go around, killing people!", you yelled.

"Oh, but I can. These powers allow it. You would know, right? What do they call you in this place? Murderer?", he said with a sinister voice.

You rushed up, summoning two blades in your hands, attacking relentlessly, but to no avail.

"Y/N! Where are you?!", Frost's voice echoed into your earpiece.

"Abandoned bridge! Another armor! I have to stop him!", you said with grunts as your blades strike his shield over and over, the metallic noises echoing from under the bridge.

"Stop me? Look at you. You can't even hit me. How do you plan on stopping me?"

You jumped back and charged your hands with energy. As the yellow blast raged forward, it engulfed the other one completely.

You breathed audibly. That blast had taken some energy out of you. But this should've done enough damage to-.

A blade pierced through you and your armor in the blink of an eye, as the dust from your blast was only starting to settle.

The other armor walked towards you, slowly appearing out of the dust.

"H-How-?", you stammered, attempting to stay upright.

"You're just too weak.", he replied. He walked forward and pulled the blade out, only to stab it in your gut again. You started to cough up blood, grabbing onto his shoulder.

"You...won't win...", you stammered.

"Oh? How so?"

You just lifted your arm and blasted him in the face. He struggled back, pulling the blade out once more, making you drop to the floor.

He started running away, a piece of his mask dropping onto the floor. You crawled up and picked it up. That's when you noticed a red streak coming towards you.

Barry kneeled next to you and started looking down at you.

"Oh guys. This isn't good.", he said, breathing heavily from the running.

"I'm bringing him back.", he said and within mere moments, you were underway to S.T.A.R. Labs.

"Barry...", you said weakly. "I'm sorry..."

"Apologize once you're back to full strength, Y/N."

You clutched onto the mask as you slowly felt yourself fade in and out of consciousness.

Within seconds, you felt yourself dropped onto the bed in the medical bay.

The light started to be almost too bright. But there she was. Frost. You could see her tears forming as she was looking into your eyes. You could tell she was fearful.

You just reached your hand up to her cheek and smiled.

"Hey.", you said weakly.

"What do you think you're doing?!", she snapped.

You understood her reaction, strangely enough. You could feel her hand over yours that was on her cheek. She was scared.

"Looking at my fiancé and wondering how I got so lucky.", you smiled.

"How much blood has he lost? He's acting too cheesy for this."

You turned her face gently towards you.

"His armor looked like mine. Almost exactly. He had killed these homeless people. I couldn't...let that slide. I promised. I promised I'd be better. I saved a mother and child today. So I think...that's a win. Right?"

She leaned down towards you and placed her forehead against yours.

"Y/N... you don't have to start running into harms way to prove to me that you're the right person for me."

"Funny. I thought that was what heroes did.", you say as you look over to Barry.

"Not recklessly.", he said with a very small voice, earning a stern look from Iris.

"I'm going to get Caity.", Frost said sadly. "She can help you with your wounds. And you better not be gone when I come back.", Frost said sternly.

You felt yourself blacking out. The fatigue was getting to you.

"Wouldn't...dream...of it."
