CHAPTER 2

"How's your first day, sweetheart?"

"You're too early, Dad! Walang masyadong work sa opisina?" I asked because it's very unusual dahil mostly, gabi na sila umuuwi ni Mom galing office.

"Luckily, Yes. Not that full of loads, nak. So, how it was?" He brought up the topic again and he seems to be really interested na malaman ang mga nangyari sa akin sa school.

"Ops! before you start your story, Princess, wait for Mommy! I'm just preparing our merienda. You can't start without me!" Mom yelled from the kitchen kaya nagkatinginan kami ni Dad at sabay na tumawa.

"Hindi talaga papahuli sa kwentuhan ang Mommy mo. I'm sure she was too excited also on your first day," Dad said, laughing.

"Dad, I'll just go to my room and change, I'll be back!" ngumiti muna ako kay Dad at hinalikan siya sa pisngi before I went upstairs.

Padabog kong binagsak ang sarili ko sa kama as I feel the cold touch of air in my skin. It made me relax and feel so tired. Grabe. I can't help to think about what happened for the whole day. The lessons. Mica. Premium and Demon. It send me to sleep.

"Senyorita Emerald, bumaba na daw po kayo sabi ng Mommy niyo. Nakahanda na daw po ang merienda niyo. Kanina pa po nila kayo hinihintay." I slowly opened my eyes, still sleepy and yawned when I heard a loud knock on my door.

"Okay po!" I yelled.

I quickly changed my clothes first into a comfortable one and I didn't even noticed that I already fell asleep kaya nakatulog na akong nakadress at heels.

Pagbaba ko, I saw my Mom and Dad laughing at the living room kaya dahan-dahan akong naglakad sa likod nila at niyakap sila nang sabay. I really love them both. Napaka swerte ko at sila ang naging magulang ko.

"Oh, nandiyan ka na pala. Let's eat!" Mom prepared my plate as I sat down in between them.

"So, how's the first day of my Princess? Are they treating you well? Tell me immediately if there's something wrong, okay?" tanong na naman ni Dad and I sighed heavily first bago nagkwento.

"Everything went fine and smooth, Dad. Actually, I got a new friend. Imagine Mom, Dad, I was expecting to be a loner today, but thanks to her I even enjoyed my first day!" I giggled.

Wala naman akong magagawa kundi i-kwento sa kanila ang nangyare sa akin ngayong araw dahil for sure, hindi nila ako tatantanan sa mga tanong nila just to filled their curiosity.

"Goodnight, Mom, Dad. Mag pahinga na po kayo!" I kissed them both bago ako naglakad pabalik sa kwarto ko.

Pagbalik ko sa kwarto, naabutan ko ang uniform ko sa ibabaw ng kama and it made me feel excited to wear it. I even checked my bag and look for my schedule tomorrow. My first class will be 8 AM, so I need to be there aroud 7 to explore more.

After taking my night care routine, I went straight to my bed and decided to open my social media accounts to kill time. Masyado pang maaga para matulog.

I checked my timelime and I saw too many tagged post from my past co-models, managers and also from some closed friends from US. Oh, God. I also visited my fan pages and most them were sad because of my decision to stay here for good. Hindi ko naman sila masisisi. I made my legacy there.
