CHAPTER 12

"I'm coming back to the girl I love,"

His voice kept on playing inside my head and it's really distracting me. Kailangan kong mag-focus sa reviewers ko dahil hindi ko pwedeng pabayaan ang prelims ko.

"Okay ka kang Emy? Halos mapunit na yang libro mo, oh," Mica pointed out my book kaya mabilis ko itong inayos as well as myself.

"Yeah, I'm fine. May iniisip lang," I answered, letting out a heavy sighed.

"Just feel at home, Girls. Magpapahanda lang ako ng merienda kay Manang," Alice said and went straightly to their kitchen. We're now on their mansion for a group study but unfortunately, my brain wasn't functioning. Napakalaki talaga ng epekto sa akin ni Demon.

Hours passed and I kept on pretending that I'm studying but my mind was busy thinking about Demon. "Gosh! Malapit na prelims," I whispered as I closed the book and decided to open my Facebook.

"What the heck!?" My eyes got wide open nang makita ko ang madaming mentions sa akin. "Are they serious!? Kalawakan Sweetheart, really?" I scrolled more and I saw the incident inside our room kaya madaming naka-discover ng love team namin ni Demon.

It also has random picture namin ni Demon at ang iba ay stolen shots. "Sana all Facebook na lang!" Ibinato ni Mica sa akin ang eraser niya kaya mabilis kong tinago ang phone ko to review again.

I started to memorize codes, laws and formulas dahil 'yon naman talaga ang mga nagpapahirap ng buhay ko. I even highlighted the important details para magbabasa na lang ako nang magbabasa.

"Mauuna na ako, Girls. Nasa baba na daw si Kuya Romel!" I gave them both a peck on their cheeks dahil it's already 8PM and I need to go home. It's late.

"Take care, Sissy! Beep us up as soon you got home!" I just nodded at them before I went inside the car.

It's a tiring day for me. Ang daming nangyari sa akin ngayong araw idagdag ko pa 'yung mga bagay na hindi naman dapat iniisip.

When I got home, I immediately changed and ready myself to go to sleep. I need a complete rest and a peaceful night. I had a long day and I'm pretty sure that tomorrow will be more.

I was already up early in the morning to prepare. May practice kami nina Demon for our performance today dahil bukas na 'yon at hindi ko alam ang mga plans na hinanda nila.

I wore my school uniform and fixed my hair into a messy braid that emphasize my chinita type of face. I applied very light make-up and took my remaining time, fixing my bag and accessories.

My smile grew bigger when I went downstairs and saw my Dad waiting for me outside while leaning on his car and playing with his keys. "Dad wala kang work today? It's already 8 in the morning,"

"Half day, Sweetheart. By the way, your Mom and I were informed about your preliminary performance. It was covered with medias for sure." I nodded in response and went inside the car.
