CHAPTER 5

"What the fudge!"

I almost jumped out of the bed when I noticed na 4AM onwards na kaya mabilis akong bumangon at nag-tungo sa CR para mag-prepare. I immediately changed my outfit into a sports black leggings partnered with a pink sports bra. I tied my hair up and wear my sports cap. I was planning to go to our village gym. Medyo malayo-layo sa bahay nang konti kaya I'll take my morning jog.

"Goodmorning, Senyorita!" Manang greeted habang nasa hallway ako.

"Good Morning din po, Manang!"

"Work out, Senyorita?"

"Ah, opo, Manang. Mag-jjogging po ako at deretso sa gym dito lang po sa village. Kapag po nagising na sina Mom and Dad, paki-sabi na lang po na umalis ako nang maaga. Babalik din po ako before 6AM," I said while fixing my cap and earpods.

"Oh, sige. Ako na ang bahala sa Mommy at Daddy mo. Mag-iingat ka lamang!" I nodded and give her a light hug before I finally went out.

Pagdating ko sa gym, the instructors got alarmed with my presence at kaagad akong inasikaso. They even gave special treatment for me and I feel uncomfortable with that dahil tatlong gym instructor ang kasama ko ngayon with the security near me.

Ginawa ko muna ang mga basic routine then to the hard one. I missed going to work-out and stay fit. Recently kasi, I have no time sa sobrang busy sa pagtransfer ko.

Nagliliwanag na sa labas after ko matapos sa session ko dahil it's already past 6. Mag-jogging pa ako pabalik kaya I immediately went to the locker room to fix myself.

Almost 6:30AM na ako nakarating sa bahay. Kitchen was my first destination to get some water and sakto naman na pagpasok ni Mom and Dad.

"Nag work-out ka sweetheart?" Dad asked.

"Yes, Dad. I need to po, e. Mamaya na po ang try-out sa volleyball and kailangan kong ikondisyon ang katawan ko," I answered while kissing them both on cheeks as my morning greetings.

Nagtungo na kami nina Mom and Dad sa breakfast hall at nag-almusal na. I glanced at the wall clock to check the time and it's just 7AM and 8:30 pa naman ang first class ko ngayon kaya hindi ako namomroblema na baka ma-late ako.

After eating, umakyat na agad ako sa kwarto ko to prepare. I also applied very light make up and fixed my uniform. When I got satisfied, lumabas na ako ng room ko at bumaba na.

"Goodluck sa try-out mo, Baby. You can do it!" Mom cheered with a full smile kaya napangiti din ako.

"Break a leg, Sweetheart. Whatever it takes, I and your Mom will still very proud of you. I love you, Princess!" Dad cheered as well and it made me felt so light.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad. You're always be the best. Papasok na po ako. I love you both!" I kissed them both bago tuluyan nang sumakay sa sasakyan.

Habang papalapit sa WCIS, I can't help just to feel nervous. Passion ko talaga ang volleyball kaso hindi naman ako makapaglaro sa US because I'm a model back there. Alagang-alaga ang kutis and features ko. Although, nag-lalaro din naman ako pero hanggang laro lang. Hindi ko pa nararansan ang makasali sa varsity o makalaro sa mga competition kaya I want to grab this opportunity to chase my passion.
