CHAPTER 28

“Nasan na sila?”

“Ate Emy!” Shin giggled and pulled me into a hug. “I'm currently learning to bake cookies para next bonding natin ay baking!”

“That's great! Where's your Kuya?” I asked her dahil it's already quarter to 6 pero wala pa din sila. “Are you with him?”

“Nasa labas, Ate. Kasama ang Premium,” She answered at pinaupo ko muna siya sa tabi nina Mica to check on the Premium.

“Hi, Love!” Demon greeted me with a peck on my cheeks.

“Hi! Bakit hindi pa kayo napasok?” tanong ko dahil unti-unti ng napupuno ang loob ng church.

“I just arrived,” Demon answered. “I'll go inside, Love. I need to talk sa music team.”

“Kanina ka pa hinihintay ni Kuya Jake!” I said. “Tara na?” I glanced at the Premium na mukhang excited.

“Magbabago na talaga ako!” Andrew said at hinila na ako papasok. I just laughed at him habang umiiling naman 'yung tatlo sa likod habang tumatawa.

I reserved seats for them sa medyo una to keep them accompanied. Nasa unahan kami ni Demon dahil part kami ng music team. I'm sure na they will enjoy this night dahil gawain ito para kay God.

“Back stage na kayo, Emy,” Ate Nayz tapped my shoulder and she looks so stress dahil araw-gabi silang in-charge sa preparation.

“Punta lang ako sa backstage, ah? I'll be right back after the song!” I told them and I can see naman na inientertain sila ng iba youth.

“Goodluck, Emy!” I just smiled on them as went inside the back stage.

“You ready?” Demon asked while checking the guitar that he'll be using.

“Of course! I'm excited!” I giggled and on Ate Nayz' cue, we positioned ourselves in the stage.

“Ngayon ay aahon
At kakalimutan ang nakaraan”

I sang and I could even see the people jumping on the beat of the song. Even the message, it gives impact to the heart.

“Dilim ng kahapon
Isasantabi na at wawakasan”

I glanced at Demon na nakatingin din sa akin na may malawak na ngiti. Kinikilig ako but with the idea of I'm happy na parehas naming ginagamit ang kakayahan namin sa paglilingkod. I believe na baliwala ang success natin if it's not glorify God.

“O ang lahat ng iyong mga anak
Magbabalik sa'yo Ama”

I closed my eyes when the beat of the song suddenly changed and a familiar intro touches my heart. It was very smooth and amazing how God works in this place tonight.

“Ako'y iyong natagpuan
Sa gitna na aking kasawian”

My hearts was really happy when I saw my friends, smiling while giving praise. I know that this isn't just happened but it was planned by God. They're planned to be here.
