CHAPTER 17

“I like you, Emy—No. Scratch that. I love you,”

It's almost 5 in the morning and it was the first thing came inside my mind and it's frustrates me dahil sobrang sakit ng ulo ko. I went to sleep late dahil patuloy na gumugulo sa isip ko ang mga sinabi ni Demon. I can't even relax for a moment without thinking about it.

I stood up and went to the bathroom for my morning routine and to relax myself and my mind. After I took my bath, I started preparing myself for my school today.

I was in the middle of fixing my uniform when I suddenly heard a knock from the door. Am I already late? I immediately checked the clock and it's just 7AM onwards. I still have time until 8 AM.

“Senyorita Emerald, nasa baba na po ang sundo niyo. Bumaba na daw po kayo sabi ni Madam,” Manang yelled behind the door that made my brows arched out of confusion.

The last time I checked, I have my own driver.

Nag-madali tuloy akong mag-ayos ng sarili to figure out things. I went down stairs and I saw Demon, sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee on his hand. He immediately stood up nang makita ako at bahagyang inayos ang sarili.

“Good morning, Alien. Let's go?” He smiled, offering his hand for me.

“What are you doing here? And bakit mo ako sinundo? May driver naman ako, ah?” I asked, raising both of my brows on him.

“Emy, 'wag mo naman ganyang itrato si Sky. He asked permission and we said yes. It's safer with him,” Mom said at bahagya pa akong tinulak papunta kay Sky. “Take care, love birds!”

“Fine! Goodbye, Mom.” I gave her a peck on her cheeks first bago ako nauna nang lumabas ng bahay. I was about to open the car's door when I felt his hand on the top of mine. I glanced at him, but he's just smiling.

My heart starts to beat so fast when he winked and bit his lower lip. “Let me do this, Senyorita,” He opened the door for me at inalalayan pa ako papasok sa loob before he took the driver's seat.

“Bakit mo ako sinundo, Demon? I mean, don't get me wrong, but you're acting weird,” I said dahil I'm still confuse with his actions.

“Sinabi ko naman sa'yo, I will make you fall for me,” He smiled again at inilabas ang napakahabang listahan. “100 ways to make a girl fall in love,” He putted a check on the top list, 'Drive for her' and then he winked at me.

“I got you, babe!” He added and I could feel my face turning red. I didn't know how to react. He's too pa-fall.

Our ride to school didn't seems to be boring. Chineckan niya din ang 2nd on his list, 'Don't bore her' and then he'll open up another topic again. He's in good mood, that's the one thing I was sure of.

“We're here, Senyorita. Don't go out yet!” He suddenly said as he went out and open the door for me.

“Let's go, Alien?” He offered also his hand para maalalayan pa ako pababa ng sasakyan.

He's too sweet and weird. Kinuha niya din ang bag ko at isinakbit sa balikat niya. Imagine, Sky Lander with my pink Louis Vuitton and it has a red ribbon on it. He's cute!
