“Finally!”

I wiped the tears from the side of my eyes nang matanggap ko ang diploma ko. It was one of the happiest and priceless feeling I've ever experienced in my whole existence.

I could feel that all of my hardworks and hard times are all worth it. It was true na mas maappreciate mo ang isang bagay kung pinag-hirapan mo and now, I reached the end of being a student and the start of my chosen career.

“That's my girl!” Demon pulled me into a hug na mas lalong nag-paiyak sa akin.

“We made it! We made it together, Demon!” My smile is a mile big habang nakayakap sa kaniya. “Kumusta naman ang Magna Cum-Laude ko?” pang-aasar ko.

“Gwapo pa din!” He laughed at ginulo ang buhok ko. “I'm so proud of you, Love.”

“Picture tayo!” I said and smiled on the camera. 'Yung ngiting natapos na lahat ng pag-hihirap mo for almost half of your life ng pag-aaral.

“I'm so proud of you, nak! Cum laude, huh?” Mom hugged me after we took pictures at handed me her gift.

I bid goodbyes with the squad first before I went inside the car. I know we worked hard to achieve this and I'm so proud of them. Sinong mag-aakala na ang dating puro kalokohan ang alam ay makaka-graduate? People change 'daw'.

“Let's talk in my office, Mom,” I joked at umakto pa na CEO kaya natawa sila.

“Yes, Chief Executive Officer Emerald!” Dad laughed at niyakap ako. “You never failed to make us proud, anak. At dahil diyan, I'll pay for the whole accomodations for your Boaracay trip!”

“Really, Dad?”

“Yes, sweetie and it's for the whole squad. You deserve a reward for being the best daughter. ” My smile grew bigger as I showered my Dad with kisses.

“If I were you, Sweetheart, I will start packing my things now and share the good news with the squad!” Mom giggled that gave me an idea.

“Boracay is waving!”

“Ay, grabe! Ang lakas humilik ni Shin!” reklamo ni Marcus pag-baba namin ng eroplano.
