CHAPTER 18

“Am I sick?”

I felt so tired and drained. Sobrang pagod ako kahit kakagaling ko lang sa tulog and I don't understand why I am feeling this way.

I lazily stood up but suddenly, I felt dizzy as the warm liquid runs out from my nose. “D-dugo—Ah!” I fell down on my knees nang maramdaman ko na nagdidilim ang paningin ko and I could see nothing. My head hurts and my nose kept on bleeding. Nanghihina din ako.

I closed my eyes for a moment to relax myself. Bakit ganito? I felt like there's something wrong. Wala akong sakit and I am claiming it in Jesus name. I slowly stood up and could barely see the way, but I still manage to went inside the restroom.

“I'm fine!” I whispered to myself as I started cleaning my nose and do my morning routine.

“Good morning, Mom and Dad!” I greeted when I went down stairs, smiling weakly.

“Eat your breakfast first, nak!” bungad sa akin ni Mom and I immediately shook my head. I completely lost my appetite.

“Sa school na lang, Mom. Late na po ako. See you later,” I just waved my hand and went out. I saw Demon leaning against his car while playing his car keys on his index.

“Good morning, Alien! Let's go?” He greeted with his full smile, but I don't have the energy because of what happened earlier. I'm still bothered.

“Good morning, Demon.” I gave him a light smile as he opened the door for me.

“Are you going to attend the meeting later?” He suddenly asked, trying to pay more attention with me and on the road.

“Yes,” I answered casually.

“Aattend ka pala, so aattend na din ako,” He shrugged and obviously, he's trying to enlighten the mood between us.

“Wala kang planong umattend?” I asked.

“Wala... sana. Pag-uusapan lang naman do'n ang mga gagawin sa camp and preparation. It's boring!” reklamo niya.

“Ayaw mo no'n, magiging aware ka?” I said, trying to put energy on my voice also. I don't want to affect him with my mood.

“I'm already aware. Attend ka naman kaya aattend na din ako,” He smiled and that made my face blush.

He never fail to make me blush.

“Ang cute mo kapag namumula ka, Alien!” He laughed and I rolled my eyes dahil unti-unti akong nakaramdam ng hiya.

“Shut up!” I hissed.

“You know what, I love seeing and making you blush. It gives me hope!” He suddenly said, bitting his lower lip. “Don't worry, makita lang kitang kinikilig, kinikilig na din ako. I'm just not fond of expressing it in front of you,” He added that made me glanced at him.

Eh?

“Kinikilig ka ngayon?” I teased, grinning on him.

“Oo. Kinikilig ka, e!” He laughed again.

“How come? I'm not blushing anymore!” agap ko dahil ramdam ko naman na hindi na ako namumula.

“But your eyes tells how giddy you are,” He answered proudly. “Our eyes never lie,” He added.
