CHAPTER 7

"What's happening?"

I can't help just to feel amused dahil sa decorations sa paligid and I even saw Mica with Alice beside my parents.

"Congratulations, sweetheart! We're so proud of you!" Mom kissed my cheeks as I gave her a tight hug.

"Thanks, Mom. Celebration po ba 'to dahil nakuha kami sa team?"

"Oo, nak. Hindi ka na kasi namin na-congrats kagabi dahil nakatulog kana sa sasakyan." Dad said.

"But no need to celebrate na naman, Dad, Mom. Simple congrats will do,"

"Ayaw mo ba? Hindi mo ba nagustuhan, Princess?" tanong ni Mom while pouting kaya natawa ako.

"Of course I love it, Mom! I love you!" I hugged them both again and I felt too overwhelmed sa mga nangyayari.

"Tita, can I invite someone?" biglang tanong ni Mica while typing on her phone.

"Sure, Hija. Invite whoever you want. Madami naman tayong foods,"

I excused myself when I suddenly feel out of place sa pinaguusapan nila. I can't catch up dahil about yon sa childhood part ng parents ni Alice. She's from squatter area pala before then adopted by the congressman. Well, 'yon lang ang naintindihan ko.

I roamed aroud to appreciate the decorations and simple celebration. There's a cake and it's on Volleyball shape. Different menus and the tarpaulin of me with Mica and Alice. Obviously, this celebration is for the three of us.

"Saan ka pupunta?" I looked back and I saw Alice na nakasunod sa akin. I was planning sana na umakyat muna sa kwarto to change dahil nakapambahay lang ako.

"Bigla ka na lang naalis!" Mica said, running towards our direction.

"Magbibihis lang sana," I told them and I could feel their presence trailing behind my back.

I opened my room's door wide for them as I went straight to my walk-in-closet, leaving them inside to roam around.

I decided to wear maong high waisted wide leg jeans and a black gucci belt to add some style with a black tube with a butterfly design in the center.

I also tied my hair in a hight bun, leaving some loose strands in front of my face and add some make-up. Nahiya naman kasi ako sa ayos ni Mica and Alice na super prepared.
