CHAPTER 1

"Good Morning!"

My smile is a mile wide as I jumped out of the bed. Today is my first day as a second year college student and I don't know what they have there for me, kaya hindi ako nakatulog kagabi. I'm so excited!

"Oh, my God!" My eyes were popping out nang mapatingin ako sa orasan. "I'm late!" 

I took my 30 minutes to prepare and I found it very unusual for me. I faced the mirror to check myself and I even turned around slowly to make me feel satisfied and beautiful.

I am wearing a light pink fitted off-shoulder dress ended an inch above my knees. Hindi ko pa kasi nakukuha ang uniform ko and I partnered it with my white 4 inches stiletto and my limited edition Calvin Klein bag. I even tied my soft natural curled hair in a high ponytail and applied a very light make-up.

"Sweetheart, bakit ngayon ka lang? First day of class mo pa naman!" bungad sa akin ni Dad nang bumaba ako galing sa kwarto.

"I'm sorry Dad! Sobrang excited ko kasi kagabi kaya hindi agad ako nakatulog kaya it ended up, late na ako nagising!" I explained habang inaayos naman ni Mom ang back part ng dress ko.

"You should eat your breakfast first, baby," Mom said.

"Sa school na lang po ako kakain, Mom. I'm getting late," I gestured my hand to the maid kaya mabilis nilang kinuha ang mga gamit ko at inayos sa sasakyan. "Papasok na po ako!"

"Good morning po!" I greeted my driver, smiling.

Sana hindi kami ma-traffic. Late na talaga ako. Hindi naman kasi kagaya nang nakasanayan ko sa US ang buhay dito sa Pilipinas. Yes, I just transferred here. Sa US ako nag-aaral and I was a model back there. Nag-decide ang parents ko na umuwi ako para dito i-celebrate ang debut ko, but I decided na dito na mag-aral for good. Na-amaze kasi ako sa ganda ng Pilipinas. From the different places and view. It was just amazing. I would love to travel and live here.

The car suddenly stopped in front of the gate as I felt my heart pounding out of my chest. Gosh! I'm nervous! I gave my documents on the security with uneasy smile.

"Wardriene Clint International School" I whispered as I read the school name. One of the most prestigious school here in the Philippines and also one of the most popular din. Karamihang nag-aaral dito ay mga mayayaman, may ari ng mga malalaking kompanya and mga anak ng politiko.

Ako? I am the only daughter of Mr. Anthony Paul Chavez Gozon and Mrs. Steffny Ramirez Gozon. Means, I'm the heiress the Gozon Group of companies, the number 1 company here in Philippines and 5th for the whole Asia.

Kilala ang company nina Dad sa mga beauty products and ang company naman nila Mom sa damit. We also owned malls and restaurants, including buildings and etc. My mom is a famous designer while my Dad is one of the legends tycons when it comes to business in the whole asia.

"Nandito na po tayo, Senyorita Emerald. Goodluck po sa first day niyo." I smiled as I feel the butterflies in my stomach when we stopped in front of the main gate.

OMG! This is it Emy!

"Thank you, Kuya Romel!" I giggled as I went out of the car.

I walked so slow as my bashful eyes looking down. I don't know how interact so I'm making no to little eye contact with the other students. I just feel uncomfy with their stares.
