Chapter Twenty-Five - The Release

My time back in London has been great so far. However, my time living with Niall has been better. I was able to spend more time with him and we didn't have to walk to each other's flats anymore to see each other. I started work back up yesterday and I was releasing No Ordinary Girl tomorrow. Niall had the day off, so he spent the day in my studio to hang out with me.

"So tomorrow huh?"

"Yep. Tomorrow."

"You excited?" Niall asked

"Beyond. I've been thinking about releasing it for 3 years now and I finally decided to."

"What made you decide?"

"You."

"Me? Why me?"

"Because the day you told me you liked the song was the day you showed me you really cared about me."

"Of course I care about you baby. To be honest, the second I saw you, which was when you were 16 and first showed up in the media, I fell in love with you. I knew I had to get you. I knew you had to be mine."

"Really? Wow. I mean, I've loved you since I was 14. So that'd be 5 years now."

"Really? Wow. We could have had something much sooner."

"Haha, yea. We could have. But I like what we have now and I wouldn't change it for anything. That and it was illegal until a year ago."

"Oh shit. True. I love what we have too. I would never trade it for anything. I'll never give you up baby girl. I love you my Adds."

"I love you too Niall."

At the end of the day, we were both pretty exhausted, so we went to bed pretty early. I woke up the next day, having the day off. I just had to go to the studio for a bit since I was releasing No Ordinary Girl today. Niall woke up early, as always, so we could get our daily cup of coffee. He decided to stay with me at the studio since I only have to be there for thirty minutes.

Once we got home I flipped on the tely and left it on whatever channel it was on. Niall came and sat with me while we watched the show.

"Singer Addy C released a new single today called No Ordinary Girl." I heard the tely say. I looked at Niall and then turned the volume up. "The song was released under an hour ago and is already the #1 song worldwide, which is a record that has never been accomplished." My jaw dropped to the floor and my eyes popped out of my head. I looked over at Niall and he had the same expression on his face. "The singer wrote the song when she was only 16 years of age and finally decided to release it after 3 years of thinking on it. What made her decide to release this song that is topping the charts around the globe? What made this girl such a big success?" And with that I flipped of the tely and looked at Niall, shocked expressions still on both of our faces.

"Baby." Niall said

"Yea?"

"Look at what you just did! Holy shit! That has never been done before. Your song is number one world wide and only took thirty minutes to get there. I am so beyond proud of you Princess."

"I- holy shit." Was all I could manage

"Baby. You did it. I'm so proud of you."

"I did it. Thank you. Thank you so much." I said as I hugged Niall and started to cry

"I love you so much Adelaide Celeste Smith."

"I love you too Niall James Horan." We heard a knock at the door so Niall walked over to the door to open it. It was all the guys and all the girls. They had come to congratulate me on topping the charts in a matter of minutes. My phone started to ring, I didn't want to pick up, but I had to since it was my manager

"It's my manager. I have to take this." I gave Niall a kiss and walked into the other room

"Ok." He said as I walked out

"Hello?"

"Adelaide Celeste Smith."

"Yea that's me."

"You've done it. Congratulations. You just topped the charts worldwide in a matter of minutes. I am beyond proud. You have always done great things for you image and for the entire studio, but this is beyond amazing."

"Thank you."

"No, thank you. I just wanted to call to congratulate you on your work. You may return to whatever it is you were doing before. Have a nice day Adelaide."

"Thanks. You too." I said as I hung up the phone. I walked back into the room with Niall and everyone else

"What did your manager want? It's not another tour is it? I swear to god Addy, if it's another tour." Niall said as I walked in

"Calm down, it's not another tour. He called to congratulate me."

"That's great! I'm so proud of you baby girl."

"Thanks. I love you Niall."

"I love you too Adds." God that name, he's the only one who calls me Adds and I absolutely love it. He leaned in and kissed me. The kiss was soft, but full of passion. We spent the day hanging out with our friends. They left as the day ended. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on between Charolette and Louis. All I knew was that they fancied each other. A lot. These thoughts stayed in my head as I fell asleep in Niall's arms and into a peaceful state of rest.
