So it's been two months, making it December. We've decorated Niall's flat with a tree and other ornaments. I've got a doctors appointment today because I've been feeling a bit under the weather and missed my period. Niall and I did have sex for the first time about a month ago and I think we forgot to use protection, so I think I'm pregnant, but I'm going to the doctor just to be sure. I haven't told Niall yet because I want it to be a surprise. Maybe even a Christmas present. I didn't tell Niall about the doctors appointment either, I just told him I went to see Livie, which I did because she was coming to the doctor with me. We got to the office and checked in. It didn't take long for them to call me back.
"Adelaide Smith." The doctor said. We stood up and headed back to the rooms. "Go ahead and have a seat Miss Smith. How can I help you today?"
"Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm pregnant. I've been sick in the mornings and I missed my last period."
"Ok. That sounds like pregnancy to me. I'll go grab some tests just to be sure."
"Ok."
A couple minutes later the doctor showed up with some pregnancy tests. She sent me to the restroom to use them and bring them back to her.
"Congratulations Miss Smith. You're having a baby. I don't know how far along you are, but I just called and made you an appointment for in an hour and they'll tell you when you're due date is and how far along you are." I just smiled at her. I was in shock. A baby. Me and Niall are having a baby. What was he gonna do? Was he gonna leave me? I didn't know what to do.
I got home from my last appointment. The doctor told me that I was already a month pregnant and that my due date was September 11. Right before Niall's birthday. Oh no. Don't tell me I'm gonna miss his birthday two years in a row. Ugh, I'm such a bad girlfriend.
"Hey baby. Have fun a Livie's?" He asked me as I came in the room.
"Yep. We had lots of fun. We went out for lunch and went shopping a bit." Which I wasn't lying, we did do both of those things.
"Fun. Hey baby?"
"Tell me."
"I've been thinking."
"About?" I was getting curious, nervous even
"I know we're not married or anything, but I wanna have a baby. With you." Oh god. He wants to have a baby. That makes me so happy to know that he won't leave me once I tell him. I couldn't tell him yet. I needed to wait until Christmas.
"Hmm. I'll think about it."
"Come on. Baby. Please." He was practically begging me
"I'll think about it. We also need to check with both of our managements."
"Ok. Fine." We didn't speak about the matter again. I felt kinda bad to be honest. He wanted a baby so bad. Later that day I found him crying in bed talking to who I think was Louis.
"Mate I want a baby so bad. And I only want a baby with Addy.......alright........ok.......bye mate." Was all I could hear. Only a couple weeks Niall. Only a couple weeks and you will be the happiest man alive.
