Chapter Seven

NAKANGUSO ang dalagang si Killani habang nanonood ng TV sa sala, umalis na si Gleisey kanina kaya mag-isa nalang ito. Lumuto na siya ng hapunan, nakakain, na inom niya narin ang bitamina at gatas ngunit wala parin si Didrik. Maybe it's safer this way, hahanap nalang siya ng panibagong trabaho para sa anak niya. Hindi naman pwede na de-depende ito kay Didrik, dahil hindi pera ang habol niya.

She shivered when a gust of wind hit her skin, she's still wet from the pool. Lumakad siya pabalik sa loob nung marinig na tumunog ang cellphone nito, she checked the dialer's name. It's her father, she heaved a deep sigh before answering.

"Hello, pa." Bati niya sa kabilang linya.

[Anak, kailangan na ng mama mo magpa-opera.] Sinasabi na nga ba.
