Chapter Twenty eight
"Anak! Bumaba ka na dito!" Napabuntong hininga nalang ang labing pitong taong gulang na si Killani Vison.
Sabi ng mama niya ay magpapakasal ito ulit, which is fine with her. Killani witnessed her mom mourned over her dad who suffered from cardiac arrest and unfortunately died.
Swerte nga ng mama niya dahil binigyan ito ng second chance sa love.
Killani looked at her reflection, she's wearing a simple dress. Ngayon na ang dinner kasama ang bagong boyfriend ng mama niya, nalaman din nito na may anak ang ginoo.

When she reached the dining table, she made sure not to look at the man. Siguradong matutulala lang siya.
"Good evening, po." Magalang na bati niya sa ginoo na nakangiti sakaniya.
"Good evening din, iha. Ako nga pala ang boyfriend ng mama mo, ano ba 'to mahal; parang teenagers tayo." Parang nahihiya na sabi ng ginoo bago bumaling sa mama niya.
Killani just giggled before sitting down beside her mom, kaharap ang binata. She gulped down before looking at him.
"Killani, anak. Ito nga pala si Didrik Gustavsson, nag-iisang anak ng tito mo." Sabi ng mama niya.
Shocks, step brother ko 'to?
Nawalan tuloy ng gana ang dalaga, she quickly smiled before looking away. Parang may lahi ang mga 'to, napansin din niya sa accent ng ginoo.
"Hi, little sis." Nakangiting bati ng binata sakaniya.

KILLANI sighed as she looks at the mirror, kaka-gising niya lang at hindi nito alam kung handa na ba siyang harapin ang asawa nito sa panaginip niya.
It's been days since she got discharged from the hospital, at sa mga araw na 'yun ay pilit niyang iniiwasan ang binata. He would converse with her, but she'll stop the conversation immediately.
