Chapter Sixteen
"ANG lalim ng sugat mo, anong nangyari sayo?" Tanong ng dalagang si Killani habang sinusuri ang sugat ni Didrik. "Halika dito." Pagpatuloy niya saka hinila ang binata sa loob ng CR.
Nakatingin lang sakaniya si Didrik habang tahimik, hindi talaga nito pinag patuloy ang pag kain para malinisan lang ang sugat niya. He was touched by his wife's gesture, kaya gusto nitong mag pa-baby e. Masarap sa pakiramdam ang inaalagaan, lalo na't si Killani ang asawa niya.
"May antibacterial liquid soap ka ba?" Tanong ni Killani nung makapasok na sila sa kubeta. "Yes, I have them in each bathrooms." Binuksan ng dalaga ang drawer saka kinuha ang liquid hand soap.
Killani turned the faucet on before placing his hand on the sink's rim, she gathered a little bit of water in her hand and poured it on his wounded thumb. Then Killani proceeded on pumping the product in her palm before cleaning his wound carefully, bahagyang nakakunot ang noo ng dalaga dahil medyo malalim ang sugat nito.
"Ano bang ginawa mo? Ang lalim oh." Kahit bakas sa boses ni Killani ang irita ay nag-aalala parin ito, call her OA or whatsoever but she doesn't want to see a single wound on his body, she's irritated because Didrik wasn't even careful.
"...Are you mad?" Mahinang tanong ng binata. "I tried to cut the mango in half horizontally but it was too hard, so I applied pressure but then--"
"You what?" Gulat na tanong ni Killani, napakamot naman sa ulo si Didrik.
"Yeah, I didn't care if I cut it the wrong way. All I think about is how would I cook your favorite food you know? But...it was still good right? It was successful?" Hope is visible on his voice, Killani didn't answer and chose to finish her job. Nung matapos ito ay kaagad siyang yumapos sa binata, he looked at her curiously.
"I'm not mad, I'm just irritated. But don't take it the wrong way, your food was bomb! So delicious, just looking at it made me enticed. I cooked the same food earlier but yours was the best!" Matamis itong ngumiti kay Didrik.
He stared in shock, he didn't expect her to react that way. Akala niya ay galit ito, moody pa naman ang misis niya.
"Thank you, thank you." He whispered before nuzzling in her neck, Killani sighed in contentment.
"But be careful next time okay?" She said before swaying her body while still hugging him, they both danced with no music at all.
No matter where they are, Killani will still show her love.
Kahit sa banyo pa.
"Don't we look crazy?" Natatawang sabi ni Didrik.
"I don't mind being abnormal with you, my love." Killani whispered.
Biglang natigilan ang binata, napatawa naman si Killani nung maramdaman na hindi ito humihinga. "Breathe, Didrik. Baka mawalan ka ng malay."
"Can you...say that again?"
Nagtataka na inangat ni Killani ang tingin sakaniya. "Breathe. Huminga ka."
"You know that's not what I meant." Nakakunot-noo na sabi ni Didrik, she let out a giggle before tip toeing and placed a smack on his lips. "For the second time. I don't mind being abnormal with you, my love."
His gray eyes bore into her, scanning the perimeter of her face. Memorizing each part. "You...how can you be so beautiful?" He whispered.
"Hindi ko rin alam, basta maganda ako." Sabi ni Killani bago tumawa.
Didrik snorted. "You're so good on ruining the moment huh?"
"I'm also good in bed." Pilya niyang sabi.
