Chapter Twenty nine
After her therapy, she'll be going to Vison Publishing House. Maybe process some papers, the company isn't officially hers so she would have to call the lawyer. Or maybe tomorrow, if she's not feeling tired.
Killani stared at her naked body in front of the mirror, her eyes landed on her flat tummy. She rubbed it gently.
"You don't exist yet huh, Vataniel?"
Talking to yourself seems like a normal thing to do, but abnormal to see.
Pumasok na ang dalaga sa shower at nagsimula nang mag half bath, making sure to clean every corner of her body. Shaving on the process, she smelled the dollop of shower gel on her palm.
She loves smelling good, she loves smelling like a vanilla. It just entices men who walks across her.
When she's done, Killani also used a vanilla scented lotion. Nag nightie lang siya na gawa sa sutla dahil komportable 'yun sa katawan, because it's still early; she decided to go down. Killani doesn't know where exactly.
Killani wanted to smile when she felt his stare at her back, mukhang may epekto siya sa binata.
More than a little sister, perhaps?
Umupo si Killani sa gilid ng pool bago binaba ang paa sa malamig ng tubig, the lights under the pool are reflecting the tiny waves she made by her toes.
A sudden wave of memories came crashing inside her head.
"I love you most..." Bulong niya saka napangiti ng pait. "Bigger than sun, wider than the universe. Fuck, sana totoo." Hindi niya maiwasang maging malungkot.
She remember those times, when her world involved around vivid dreams. She hoped. She hoped that everything will stay the same, that their love will never change. Just like the galaxy they're staying underneath.
Being fooled by yourself is more painful than someone fooling you.
Napatingin siya sa binata na umupo sa gilid niya, a grin formed on Killani's lips when she saw him looking below her collarbone.
Little sister pala ha.
"Why aren't you wearing a bra?" Inis na tanong ng binata.
Killani just shrugged her shoulders. "I need to let them breathe, obviously."
"You shouldn't wear that especially when I'm around, kuya mo ako; Killani.
He is not, and will never be her brother.
