Jaehyun POV
When I realized that she kissed me with her disgusting gloss-filled lips, my instinct to push her kicked in. I shoved her with all my might before I wiped my lips in repulsion. "What the actual fuck?" I cried out as I spat on the ground.
"Jae Jae don't be like that, it's been awhile since we last saw each other." she replied in an irritating shrill voice.
Her response didn't register in my mind as I notice the sudden change in the weather. The hair on the back of my neck stood up as an ice-cold gust of wind swept around us. The sunny bright sky awhile ago is now blanketed with dark foreboding clouds while the surrounding plants around us began to wither. Suddenly as if on cue, light blue pellet-sized ice rained down from the dark ominous sky. My nerves tingled as I looked around in hopes to see Jungwoo. Something is wrong!
I ran towards the souvenir shop but was stopped immediately by Johnny. "Yo! What's going on? Why is there a hailstorm?" he called out, confusion on his face as he and Taeil just came back from the restroom.
"Did you see Jungwoo?" I asked urgently. My eyes darting, searching for Jungwoo.
"Uh...I don't know. But I saw Doyoung running towards there." he pointed out towards the restaurant we dine in awhile ago with his index finger.
"Jaehyun. This is..." Taeil intervened as he looked at me knowingly. We both know that the possibility of Jungwoo causing the hailstorm is pretty high. Although, I didn't know that he can control the weather.
"I'll just check on something...I'll meet you at the entrance." I called out to them while I ran to the direction that Johnny pointed. When suddenly, I noticed a paper bag on the ground just a few steps away from the souvenir shop. I stooped down and reached toward the package, and saw my name on it. Jungwoo!
Clutching the package, I ran like my life depended on it. The hailstones rained down non-stop as people run for cover in different directions. But it didn't bother me, finding Jungwoo is my priority. I needed to explain, if somehow he saw me and that bitch together.
After thirty minutes of running around the surrounding area, I failed to search for Jungwoo. I felt dejected and worried when I met Johnny and Taeil at the entrance of the park. "Jaehyun!" Johnny called out, waving his phone over the heads of people.
"Did you contact Doyoung?" I asked right away when I got near to their spot.
"My phone is dead, I need to charge it."
"Do you know where Jungwoo is? Is this another kidnapping ?" Taeil questioned me in an accusing tone.
"No...at least, I don't think so." I replied hesitatingly.
"My bet is Doyoung's with him. He ran like Usain Bolt was behind him earlier." Johnny answered. "By the way, is that Min- ah!" he started before I stepped hard on his foot to cut him off. We went out of the park and got in the car so Johnny can charge his phone.
"Where's your phone?" Johnny asked out of the blue as he plugged his phone at the USB outlet.
"Ah!" I forgot for a moment that I had my phone with me. I pulled it out of my pocket and checked if it's still on, but the battery is dead as well. Since we've used our phone to the max as we took photos and videos earlier when we were at the rides.
"Jungwoo is still within a 100-km distance." Taeil stated out loud. He was silently still with his eyes closed all the while we're inside the car.
