J U N G W O O
I opened my eyes slowly, my vision a bit blurry as I rubbed the sleepiness away with the back of my hand. In the past few days I was in and out of consciousness, my energy drained and my memories became vague. But today is different, I felt my energy was revitalized after a long undisturbed sleep.
I stretched and pulled myself out of bed. To be honest, I have the urge to laze around and sleep more but I think it's embarrassing since I'm not at my own home, I thought as I put on the house slippers that was conveniently placed near the bed. As I walked towards the bathroom the pile of new clothes on top of the dresser caught my eye. I reached out and unfold the clothes to examine them. Doyoung probably bought it while I was sleeping. I'm thankful, but I don't want to dress in light colored clothes today since I feel the ba- AH!
I ran quickly to the bathroom and pulled my shirt off immediately as I stood in front of the bathroom mirror. My baby! I caressed my stomach carefully, hoping to feel my baby's energy. I closed my eyes to concentrate and reached deep down inside me. I have to know if my baby is alright, I need to make contact with its energy.
My brows furrowed in concentration when I finally felt the small ball of energy vibrate to my call. It was pulsating steadily as if to let me know that its alright. That its alive. Oh! was my initial reaction when I noticed something different.
A small smile crept on my face as I finally opened my eyes after a full minute. I stared at my reflection in the mirror, my stomach is a bit rounder than before. Not unlike a pregnant human, but still it's kind of obvious by now.
Enjoying the renewed energy I'm feeling right now, I hummed a song as I removed the rest of my clothes before stepping in the shower. I want to enjoy this to the fullest and I have some ideas in mind. After twenty minutes I was finally clean and fresh. I decided to wear a midnight blue t-shirt with geometric design partnered with a garterize black cotton joggers. Satisfied with my overall look, I finally stepped outside the room and let my nose do the work to find the kitchen.
"Good Morning!" I said cheerily to Taeil, who apparently taken over Doyoung's kitchen. He was busy preparing an assortment of food when I greeted him.
"Oh! You're finally awake? I'm glad that you have color back on your cheeks now!" he greeted back as he observed my face with an unsettled expression. Deciding to change the subject, he grabbed a knife and a peach in the fruit bowl and started peeling it right away. "Let me just slice these up for you. You can sit down by the table." he instructed.
"Hmm...but I don't like peaches anymore." I said as I turned my back and walked towards the six-seater white marble dining table.
"What?!" Taeil cried out. The knife he was holding clattered on the kitchen island while the peach he was peeling rolled on the floor. "Since when?" he asked. His forehead wrinkled in surprise and his eyes were frozen open.
"Since today?" I shrugged.
"If Jaehyun would hear that, he would be really heart-broken," he grumbled loud enough for me to hear.
"Who's Jaehyun?" I asked innocently as I sat down at the dining table.
"Jungwoo, if this is a joke it's not funny!" he cried out while he picked up the knife again. " I swear to Sang Je, this knife will be flying there if this is a joke!" he threatened as he pointed the knife towards me.
