Chapter 35 : Don't Mess with the Gods

Receiving the call from Jaehyun made me feel dizzy with indescribable joy and excitement. He finally realized that he won't get away from me! I covered my face with a pillow as I giggled loudly. I made too much effort to let him get away, I thought as I stood up from my bed and walked over to the medium-sized oval mirror hanging at my bare wall. I studied my haggard reflection on the mirror and thought of the make-up I'll be using later. 

I can finally get out of this dump and start a new life! But I need to prepare for our meeting later and this time I need to make myself enticing. Desperate times need desperate measures! I glanced mischievously at the black velvet spaghetti dress hanging outside my small closet. He's gay but that's not a problem for a desperate woman like me. I have three holes he can use his dick with. Without my intention, a small smirk crept on my face as I twirled my hair in my fingers while I thought of a plan on how I can make him mine again. 

At nine PM, I was ready to go as I looked at myself again for the last time before heading out. I put the most expensive make-up I owned on my face, making sure to exaggerate the features I think makes me stand out. I hailed a cab outside my rented apartment and set off to our usual spot where we do our 'transactions'. The place is located in a secluded area at a public park near Namsan Tower. I suggested this place since I also used this area to conduct my drug transactions, so I'm one hundred percent confident that it's safe and discreet.

Stepping out of the cab after a few minutes drive from my place, I inhaled the crisp night air full of promise and hidden agenda. I checked my phone to see the time and decided it's too early for our meeting since it's only twenty minutes past nine PM. So instead of heading directly to our hidden place, I decided to stroll around the park first and enjoy the view.

I remembered three years ago when we first met here after our breakup. Jaehyun was so dumb and kindhearted and he still is, to fell into my empty threats. But his fear and his guilt became my weapon. A weapon of constraint that kept him wrapped around my fingers for years. It's funny that even Doyoung can't stop Jaehyun's stupidity, but I couldn't care less. 

I went to great lengths to dig deep into Jaehyun's family after we parted ways and imagine my surprise that he is a part of a great family. The Choi family, in fact, one of the creme de la creme head families in South Korea and the idiot me let the illegitimate heir slipped from my fingers. No, I wouldn't let that chance happened again! 

So, I did everything I can to gather my so-called 'shreds of evidence'. In order to do that, I had to bribe and manipulate people to stalk him for me. I was even desperate enough to offer blowjob as payments because I believe it will be worth it at the end. Then, his irritating boyfriend came and all of my work during those three years went down the drain. 

Jaehyun forgot about me. Forgot about his 'promise' of monthly compensation to my false claims of physical and emotional damages he had caused me, just because of an androgynous puppy-eyed guy came along. And what's so good about him anyways? He looks like a country bumpkin dressed in expensive clothes. I bet that the clothes he's wearing are from Jaehyun too. Granted he has flawless milky skin and a slim figure but still, I thought grudgingly as I kicked a pebble with my heels.
