J O H N N Y
I stifle a yawn as I laze around comfortably at Jaehyun's black leather sofa while I check the news on my phone. I've been staying here for at least twelve hours a day since the drama that happened a few days ago. My presence is not necessarily needed or wanted but I have to make sure that Jaehyun won't do anything crazy or stupid. Doyoung would probably kill me if he founds out that I just let Jaehyun fed for himself and I value my life more than anything, thanks! So without complaining, I'm doing my part actively.
"Yo! Why are you still limping?" I asked out loud as I saw Jaehyun limp outside his room. Apparently from what Taeil have told me, Jaehyun was beaten by their father. I don't know to what extent, since we arrived late at the crime scene but Jaehyun's been nursing muscle aches and minor bruises on his body. I don't really like violence but I think Jaehyun had it coming when he decided to confidently walked in the lion's den. I admire his courage though, just shows how much he love his peach boy.
"Tsk, my lower back still hurts a bit." Jaehyun replied with a wince when he tried to firmly set his foot down on the floor.
"Jeez, did you just accept the blows?" I asked with disbelief as I study his face. "You know, you still haven't told me what exactly happened." I reminded him.
"There's nothing to talk about. Jungwoo's father was angry, I got beaten that's it." he insisted.
"Beaten to the point that your Ferrari's windshield got smashed? The trees got burnt? The gate was blasted to pieces? And don't remind me that hole ? Yeah...what a beating." I answered back. For some reason, I feel Jaehyun is keeping a secret from me, from us. But if I keep pushing he might lash out on me instead, so I'll let it go for now.
"I told you, a lightning strike did all of those." Jaehyun replied without looking directly at me. "What are you doing by the way?" he added, trying to change the subject.
"Hmm? I'm browsing Naver to see if there's any report about what happened that night. And guess what ? Nothing! Even the black out that lasted for two hours was not reported! It's a big cover up, I tell you! Government is on it!" I cried out while I pointed my phone at him.
"You and your conspiracy theories." he replied and shook his head as he sat carefully on the sofa.
"Dude! It's not a theory if I know they intentionally didn't report this kind of thing! How about the hailstorm? The snow? The news report only said that it's because of climate change! Climate change? Am I going crazy or am I going crazy?" I asked out loud, breathless. These things bugged me and I don't even have the answers. It's killing me!
"You're already crazy, hyung." Jaehyun said with a small laugh.
"At least I'm not crazy enough to cuddle with my boyfriend's bathrobe when I sleep." I retorted.
"I miss him, okay?!" Jaehyun responded while throwing a pillow at me.
"Don't even remind me. Oh! I need to head out in a bit. I'm meeting someone." I informed him as I checked my phone again for any messages.
"Someone? Is it Taeil?" Jaehyun asked, eyeing me with narrowed eyes.
"Maybe?" I replied playfully.
