DESTINED

CHAPTER 30

We spent almost 1 hour in the shower,playing stupid games with Kyle and I'm just happy I finally found him,he brings the best out of me.

We ended up sleeping at around 3am. That's the reason we woke up today at 11am, we slept with no plans today but Kyle woke me up with breakfast in bed something I've been only watching from these Nigerian movies where breakfast in bed would go wrong,I remembered the clip I watched on WhatsApp and laughed to myself, from soap operas and these romantic movies.

But with me here, it's real. He kissed me briefly on my lips and he ended up feeding me saying I was a queen who deserved to be treated with love and care.

It's almost 2pm,Kyle and I have plans , he said he's taking me out for lunch and later to the supermarket to do some shopping,which I of course refused but he still insisted

I told you he always gets what he wants. I'm in a black ripped jeans, a white off shoulder top and white Converse, Kyle is looking hot  in black ripped jeans too , a tight fitting white t-shirt labeled ' Los Angeles" and white stripped black rubbers.

We set to go and I hope this time nothing interferes with our grand plan.
He gives the workers instructions before we head out. He already introduced me to all of them and I'm already in love with Maria, she's a sweet middle aged woman whom we just striked and got along the first day, she now calls me her  daughter  and that warms my heart.

We hit the road and I decide to text Maya on WhatsApp. She asks me how it went with Kyle's parents and I narrate to her the whole story . She encourages me to continue loving Kyle despite her hostile and bitchy treatment. I inform her about my days plan and she goes ahead to to tell me that she's with Adrian but she's almost leaving for home so I'll find her home already.

Kyle slows down and enters through a gate, when I pop my head to see where we're headed to, I'm surprised by what I see.

There's a long storey building written
" Parker dishes and restaurant" I gawk at him in surprise
" Don't be surprised baby, my dad owns this but I run it so I decided it'll be better if we have our lunch from here, it'll be less costful"
" Woow so you mean your dad owns all these, jeez you guys are so rich"
" God's timing honey, my dad has struggled to own all these and it's by God's grace that we're where we are right now,it has not been a walk in the pack but here we are, now let's go take something before it's too late"

He opens his door and rushes to open the passenger's side, which I almost hear him up to it but he still opens
" A gentleman should always open his girlfriend's door" he says whilst smiling
" I know but I got this"
" My dear let me just do my job, despite you're my queen and I should be treating like you're a queen indeed"

I don't argue with him because I know we'll end up wasting more time here and yet I have to be home by 5. Tomorrow is a work day  and I need to prepare myself too, I've been out the whole weekend.

We're shown a VIP secluded room where Kyle hold my hand and moves the chair for me, once I'm settled, once he's settled he gazes back at me and I blush all red.

" Your face is flushed hunny whatsap?" He asks mockingly
" Fuck you,you know why and you still asking" I say back at him
"I know you wish you did, but sorry hunny we can't do it right now, despite we're in public"
" Naughty boy!" I say while laughing
Food is brought and I'm glad I chose fried chicken with chips and a glass of cold juice
Kyle is taking ugali with fish, salad and I laugh at him
"Men"I say while laughing
" What about us?" He asks playfully
" Must you eat ugali, it's lunch time "
" I'm a man babe, and you see these abs that always turn you on, they just don't come from heaven, I work for them, I work out in the gym every morning to maintain this body ,plus I need the  energy to drive you crazy"
" Well, okay you didn't have to go into deeper details" I say to him which he just laughs heartly saying he won

The rest of the meal is taken silently and after we done we head out to the car. Kyle suggests we go for shopping before  he drives me home and I nod in agreement.

We hit on the road again as we head to the supermarket. After a few minutes of driving, Kyle realises that a car is following us closely.
" I think there's a car following us, I've tried to  dodge but guess they're just after us"
" Are you sure?" I ask alarmed
" Yes babe, let me see what I can do to loose them" he says as he drives at a relatively high speed

The road is almost clear and there's no traffic ,Kyle tries to speed up but the car finally catches up with us, he checks on the rear mirror and sees someone familiar
" Babe, I think I just saw Kevin in that car"
" What! I thought you said Kevin was arrested while we were back in Ethiopia, what happened?' I ask him whole checking on the rear mirror too.
I see him gawking at me and he's seated with a lady who's in dark shaded I can't know who she is.
" I think he's not alone, there's a  lady in  dark shades and I can't really decipher who she is.
" That's what I'm trying to figure out, he was arrested and he's now out, and in the country already"

While he's still talking, the car pushes us forcefully from the road and I shout at Kyle to look out but it's too late, our car rolls several times heading down the valley just beside the road, the last thing I hear is Kyle trying to tell me to stay awake.
