CHAPTER 60(final)

Two months later

I'm in the hotel room, I can't believe that today is my wedding day, I mean I'm getting married to the love of my life, the best man in the world and the father to my unborn baby.

We've been arguing about the name of the baby but I finally won, if it's a girl I'm naming her Aimee and if it's a boy I'm naming him Basil.

Well I know I manipulate him into getting what I want and that's really sweet, he has been taking care of me and I had to stop working because the doctor recommended so. Kyle has been making sure I follow those damn instructions

The baby bump is not yet out but I place my hand on my tummy to feel, it ,the thought of having a child and not just any child but Kyle's child give me goosebumps I can't wait to be called mum.

We agreed not to scan for the baby gender right now but we will scan and announce it in a baby reveal gender party after the wedding.

  Maya walks in and smiles at me.

" Our soon to be mother, you should not be spending time staring at the window you need to see your make up artist she is here already"

" I know Maya I'm just happy that the day is finally here and with us"

" I know honey and I'm happy for you, remember mom,  and my sisters are here too"

"Okay Lem just take a shower I'll be here before you know it"

Belvina finished her form four and is already a first year in Kenyatta university while Clara is in her final year in highschool.

Maya is my best maid and her sisters are among the maidens. Maya's parents will walk me to the aisle because they're the only family I'm aware off.

Once I'm done , Maya helps me with the gown which she designed for me. It a beautiful white gown and I just marvel at it.

After the make up artist is done, I look myself in the mirror and marvel at the reflection, she did a perfect job on my face and I give her a thumbs up.

" You look beautiful girl, I know Kyle will not stop drooling over you the whole time"

" Thanks honey you look beautiful too,now let's going before Kyle thinks I stood him up"

" Eager much, Mrs Parker huh"

Maya mocks and I pinch her playfully.

I suggested we use my car, the one Kyle bought me and everyone agreed

Maya's parents are in  their car with Belvina and Clara  and mine is following closely behind them, I'm at the back of the car with Maya and she's cracking stupid jokes at me.

We reach at the church and when the door to the church is opened I look straight answer Kyle waiting anxiously by the altar

I'm sandwiched between Maya's parents and she's closely following behind me with Belvina and Clara.

The church is packed full.

Kyle's POV

"Hey man do you think Nicole will stand me up?"

I ask Adrian for the umpteenth time and he smiles at me, he thinks it's funny

" Relax man, Nicole will never do such a thing to you, she loves you, just try and be patient man, they'll be here soon"

Adrian is my best man, he's trying to console me but I'm not sure I can wait any longer, I just hope Nicole doesn't do such a thing to me I'll run mad .

Just then the door opens and my queen is standing there looking all beautiful in her gown.

She is between Maya's parents band I smile at that, I walk to the altar to wait for her .

After they hand her over to me,   I hold her hand and direct her to the seat besides mine

" You look beautiful love"

"Thanks babe, so are you"

The wedding proceeds silently and when time for exchanging vows reaches, I walk boldly with here besides me.

" Nicole Alison, since the first day I met you, I knew you were the one, I was intrigued by your beauty and your kind heart, I promise to love you now and forever, in sickness and in health,in wealth and in poverty, I may  not have  been the best boyfriend to you but I promise I'll never fail to be a good husband to you and our kids, I love you"

And then she opens her mouth to say her vows and I wait anxiously

" Kyle Parker, I loved you since the first day I met you, and I promise to love you even now and forever, you've been the best person in my life, you have shown me simply but the best and I promise to love and cherish every moment with you no matter what, I promise to be the best wife and the mother to your kids , I love you"

" i now pronounce you husband and wife ,you may now kiss the bride"

When the priest says that I don't even wait for him , I crash my lips on her and I kiss her shortly before I pull out and smile naughtily at her.

" We shall finish this later baby"

After the reception and receiving of wedding gifts, we board my private jet to Santorini island the place I've wanted to take her for honey moon

" By the way love ,where are you taking me for the honeymoon"

"Relax love, it's a surprise and I have lots of  surprises for you"

" You know you can just tell me because at the and of the day I'll still find out"

" No way, it's the best island I've ever wanted to take you for honeymoon, it's been my dream place for just the two us , I know you will enjoy"

We are relaxing with my wife on the sandy beach, it's a cool evening and we are watching the sunset.

I move my hand to her tummy and she screams in happiness

" Wow babe, the baby just kicked

" It knows I'm the daddy , so what did you expect"

" You know I can't believe we are finally here, me and you just the two of us and the world, free from dramas, I love you Kyle Parker"

" I never knew we will finally be here  with you too babe, and I thank God because he has made us reach this far, I love you too Mrs Parker"

As she smiles to that I bring her lips close to mine and crash my lips on hers, I want to savor this feeling for the rest of my life, because it's been what I have been dreaming of
