CHAPTER 40

Nicole's POV

I'm in the house by evening. I just remove my heels , my legs are exhausted, I walk to the fridge pick a glass from the kitchen and pour myself cold juice from the fridge.

I'm not planning on moving from the couch any time soon so I pick the remote from the coffee table and flip through the channels.

I'm a great fan of African magic so I choose that and continue sipping my juice in silence.

I've not talked to Kyle since he left early in the morning with Shillah, I miss him and that's for sure.

I pick my phone from the handbag and go through my call logs, he's among the recently called and in my favorite list. I save him as "my love"

I dial and it rings twice before he picks up

" Hey love, miss me already?"

He says that and I laugh heartily at him before I chuckle

" Hey babe, you wish, anyway it's been since morning I miss you though, you coming over?"

I ask him hoping he says soon because I miss him already

" Ooh yeah baby just a few minutes before I come home, I miss you too, I miss those laughs and seeing your pretty face, I'll be on my way in a few minutes"

I sigh in relief when he says that

"Okay I'll be waiting then, what do you want for dinner?"

" Anything baby, you know I eat what you eat, I passed by the office wanted to work on some papers before I come home, and by the way make it for two, I dropped shillah by her boyfriend's so we'll just be the two of us"

" Okay babe, see you soon"

" Okay babe ,bye I love you"

" I love you too babe"

With that I hang up and decide to start preparing for supper, it's already eight and I know Kyle will be here in a few minutes time.

I head upstairs, change into something more comfortable, and slide into my comfy slippers and head over to the kitchen.

I decided to make ugali, meat and veggies, spinach go be precise. I'm done chopping the meat and spinach. The meat is already on the cooker. Just a few minutes before I make ugali.

" Hello my love" Kyle as I recognize his voice,he says that to my ears and I wonder why he likes sneaking on me

" Babe, you scared me" I say back to him,he has snaked his hands around my waist so I make to turn and gently lets me.

" I missed you" he coos in my ears and I swear that makes me have a twist in my pants, he makes me loose my mind.

He proceeds to kiss my neck gently and I moan in response, I move my arms and hold him around his neck, I stand on my toes so that I can kiss his lips.

Kyle is super tall and I like it that way. He realizes so he bents and allows me to capture his lips

"Kyleeee" I moan in pleasure when he makes to grab my ass cheeks from my sweats

" Yes love," he answers whilst in my mouth,"you drive me crazy, I just wanna make love to you right now, mmmh"

That only makes me yearn, he carries me and sets me on the kitchen counter and stands between my legs.

" I swear the air in the kitchen is getting more tight and suffocating, I'm hot all over and I swear I just want him already in me.

The smell from the cooker makes me turn my head and I want to jump from the kitchen counter

" Kyleeee, the meat, it's getting burnt"

He only responds by moving to my neck, as much as I'm enjoying this, I can't let it ruin the dinner I've been working on

I push him away gently and move to the cooker, the meat was starting to get burnt.

" You see what you caused?" I blame him knowing well it was our fault

" But baby you were kissing me too, you were enjoying everything" he says naughtily at me and I laugh despite everything

" Go have your shower, dinner will be ready in a few minutes, so if you won't be here by twenty minutes I'll eat alone"

" C'mon babe,you know you can't do that" he says

" Okay let's bet you know me well" I say that to him and he runs upstairs.

Kyle comes downstairs after thirty minutes , I'm already done setting the table. We eat in silence after that,he helps me do the dishes and clean up the kitchen. After a few minutes we're already in the living room, I'm resting my head on his laps as he is busy stroking my hair.

" So how did it go with your dad, I mean the family meeting?"

I ask him trying to diverge his attention.

" My dad filed the divorces papers and they already signed, you can't believe my mom currently my ex mum married my dad for his wealth and not love, he lived Natalie's dad"

Kyle says in much pain and I feel him.

"Wooah that's sad, I can't believe she did that to your dad, your dad is a good respectable man" I say to him and he just nods.

We continue talking about everything in general until when he asks me if I want to watch a movie, he lets me choose and I settle for " what men wants" it's one of my favorite movies actually.

We're in the mid of the movie and Kyle moves his hands to my shirt,and cups my breasts, I know what he wants so I turn my attention back to him and he kisses me back when I capture his lips in mine.

He carries me to his room which will soon be our room, and drops me on the bed, he undresses the both of us, we're stack naked and I stare at him, he has a body to die for , he moves close to me and asks me if I'm okay with that and I nod I'm response. We end up making sweet love

We're later in bed cuddling and I can feel his muscles flexing, as I sleep knowing I have a man who loves me and I love him back.
