CHAPTER 27

It's been three weeks since Nicole's surprise birthday party, although I was planning for a mega one but still that worked. Our relationship has been all flowers and chocolates, dinner dates,road trips, skating and lemme just say it's been the best moments of my life.

I'm planning on visiting my folks house today, it's Saturday since it's not a working day that will be a good idea plus I want to introduce Nicole to them,as the woman of my dreams and the one I want to marry God willing.

I told her that and she agreed with me. For Natalie it's been a while,although I'm dating Nicole but still Natalie happens to be my childhood friend so I can't totally cut her off. After I made it clear to her that I'm now officially dating Nicole and that we're a thing she got pissed off,Natalie has always wanted to date me but I didn't have feelings for her, except as a good childhood friend of mine and a family.

Natalie doesn't accept defeat and I just hope she doesn't tell my parents about our plan,the friends with benefits thing.

When I made everything clear to her that whatever we were doing should stop, I was with Nicole ,she just sneered and said whatever. Anyway she can't let me dwell on my past I now have a commitment to focus on and that's my one and only love, Nicole.

I also suggested that I move them from where they stay to somewhere more comfortable, close to my place and also close to her their work place,they both agreed after a long talk and arguments, although it's final, they'll be moving out next week on Saturday.

I called my mum and told her I'm bringing someone along, someone she'd love because she's been pressuring me a lot these days.

Nicole is in a long black fitting dress with black stilettos,she's carrying a black handbag and she let her hair go flow freely in her back, she looks like heaven today so beautiful. He hips are protruding from her dress and I get the urge to feel them. Her face is make up free I know why. To be sincere she's always beautiful with no make up on and  I love  it when she has no make up.

I didn't put much effort on my dressing since it's my own home in going too plus it's weekend.
" Babe I'm so tensed, what if your parents don't like me?"
"Relax honey my mum is likeable and a darling she'll love you, despite who wouldn't want you for a daughter in law?, You're beautiful baby, your character is something else to die for so don't worry"
" Stop flattering me,you know I can't act like I've met them before it's my first time doing this and I'm super tensed"
" Don't worry, I'll be there with the whole time,you'll feel at home and comfortable"

We arrive at my parents around 7pm,it's a dinner meeting and also get to know each other,we agreed to spent the night there and go back to our place the following day.
I ring the bell and my little pretty sister answer the door,she's so excited to see us
" Hey broh,it's nice seeing you again after a while year of disappearance"she says as she hugs me,     "and who's this beautiful lady beside you?"
" Ooh my bad,this is Nicole my girlfriend,baby this is shillah my little pretty sis"
" It's nice to finally meet you Nicole,my brother here has been talking nonstop about you ,I now see why,you're beautiful"
"It's nice to meet you too Shillah,you're beautiful too"
After that she lets us and we meet my dad in the living room.
" Hey dad"
"Hey son"
" Dad this is Nicole, my girlfriend,the one I told you about"
" Nice to finally meet you Nicole,you're beautiful just like from the pictures Kyle send us,feel at home"
"Thank you Mr Parker"
"No you can just call me Richard,or Richey that's for the youngsters like you" dad laughs at that and we join him
Mum comes from the kitchen and friend the moment she sees Nicole ,she goes ahead to greet me and totally ignores Nicole's presence,dad notices and scolds her
"Charlotte,what's the meaning of that?,you just going to ignore her presence like she's not here"
"My bad,I didn't see her,hey Nicole my son has been speaking highly and nonstop about you,you're not that bad either,nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too Mrs Parker"
"Call me Charlotte everybody calls me that"
With that she heads to the kitchen and I whisper to Nicole to follow her ,it's time they bonded.
Despite her cold treatment mum is a kind-hearted woman,I know she likes Natalie for me but I chose Nicole because my heart belongs to her.
When Nicole is gone we spent the better part of the time chatting with dad and talking about the company. I go to check up on Nicole and I find her laughing along Shillah at least she got someone who loves her just like I do.

Dad has approved my relationship and I'm sure mum will just have to play along,I can't loose Nicole for her own selfish reasons.
We watch news as we wait for dinner.
