CHAPTER 35

KYLE

It's been almost two weeks since Nicole got out of the hospital. I convinced her and she moved in with me

It's was my idea and Maya agreed to it. She also moved in with her boyfriend Adrian, Maya wanted to sell their stuffs in a black market but Nicole disagreed, so I helped them move the stuffs to Maya's parents house and they agreed to keep them,she said ,you never know what tomorrow holds for us so no need to sell them and we agreed to that.

Maya has been visiting her frequently and now that Shillah is done with her final exams, she moved in to stay with us and help Nicole around, my mom has been quiet for a while and I wonder what she's up to, same to Natalie.

But since my babe and I are doing that fine , that doesn't bother me, today's on Saturday and Nicole's therapist is coming around, Dr Mugo is out family's doctor and a therapist too. She said therapy sessions will help her recover soon and also help her generally, coz she's still traumatized  and I just hope this helps her out of the pain and agony she's undergoing

" Morning Kyle" Shillah greets me as she's busy preparing breakfast
" Morning too lil sis, how you this morning?"
" I'm good, how's Nicole, has she woken up already?"
"Yeah, I just came to check on you before I help her to the bathroom"
" And by the way Kyle, I'll be going out with Ryan today"
" Who's Ryan?"I ask her
" He's my boyfriend, we've been seeing each other for a while now and he said he's taking me out for a lunch date"
"Wow you are already dating at this age, when I was your age, I only knew my books" I say while laughing
" You and I both know that's a lie, I've seen you bring home girls, remember when you used to sneak them in when dad and mum were out of town"
" Don't tell me you still remember those days, anyway I hope you guys are taking care of yourselves, I don't want my lil sis getting pregnant before she joins campus, there's protection, if you don't know anything about that I'm here you can talk to me"
" Jeez Kyle,its not like we're having sex"
" I know but one day you will, make sure that guy uses protection and don't let him misguide you, emergency pills are only for emergency not always, the best way is to use condoms abstain, I don't want you having complications in future I want to see my nieces and nephews, so please remember what I've just told you"
" I know broh, thanks, I'll keep that in mind"

" And who's this Ryan"
"Ooh Ryan is Adrian's younger brother, he is in 2nd year in  Kenyatta university,  he's doing medicine"

" Ooh Adrian, as in Maya's boyfriend, that's great, I see he's a grown ass man I thought he just did his fo four like you"

" You were wrong brother, now let me finish with the breakfast before Nicole comes downstairs"

I walk back to the master bedroom and I find the life of my life seated on the bed,

" Morning pretty?" I ask while walking towards her, I peck her and proceed to sit next to her

" Morning love, where had you gone this early in the morning"

" Ooh I was in the kitchen , checking up on Shillah, she's almost done with the breakfast, I should help you in the bathroom , come here"

" I'm even tired of these things ,I hope I get well soon and walk on my own"

" Don't worry baby, despite I like carrying you around"

Nicole has been using a wheelchair to move around since both her legs were broken but it's just for a while before she's proven okay by the doctor and she walks again.
  
I carry her to the bathroom, I help her in the bathtub and proceed to wash her, I've been doing this for quite sometime now so it's not a hard task to me

After I'm done , I apply some oil on her body before I help her in a short floral dress, I help her tie her hair and I marvel at her beauty, she's that beautiful and when I look at her I wish I just made love to her right now but I'll have to exercise some patience, until when she'll heal.

I move in to kiss her soft and tender lips and invites me in, we kiss for a while before we're interrupted by Shillah calling us downstairs for breakfast.

I carry her carefully and place her on one of the seats on the dining table besides mine.

Shillah made tea,some eggs and toasted bread. We take breakfast in silence and when we done, I help Nicole settle on the couch and I head to our room to take a shower

After twenty minutes I'm done and already heading downstairs, I join Nicole on the couch and I make get head to rest on my laps an I stroke get hair playfully.

A few minutes later, Shillah walks in already dressed up and looking all beautiful in a long black fitting dress, black heels and a grey handbag matching with her hairband and earrings.

" Hey Nicole, brother I think I'm ready, I'll just wait up for him here, he said he'll be here in a few minutes" she says and flops herself on the couch too

" And if I may ask, where are headed to dressed to kill,you look beautiful Shee" Nicole says and she blushes
I chip in and decide to answer for her
" So currently my sister is seeing someone and she's going for a date, baby sister you look beautiful"

" Thanks broh and thanks Nicole, I have a lunch date with my boyfriend in a few minutes"

"And who's the lucky guy, he must be lucky to have this beautiful girl over  here" Nicole says and before Shee can answer her, the door bell rings and  she stands up to go and answer the door
Just then a tall, dark guy walks in, he's in a casual wear and I automatically approve him for my lil sis

" Hey guys this is Ryan, Ryan this is Kyle my elder brother and Nicole his girlfriend" she says and Nicole shrieks
" Ryan! You mean it's you, you've grown into a handsome young man" at some point I get jealous but I believe she's still mine
" Ooh Nicole you're doing great too, you've grown more beautiful, I'm sorry for what happened to you"  Ryan says calmly. " It's nice to meet you Kyle"
" Nice to meet you too Ryan, please take care of my sister for me, if you don't, you'll have me to deal with, and  please  use protection, she's still Young" I say to him with a serious tone

" Jeez Kyle, that's gross" both Shee and Nicole say in unison and I laugh back
" I'm just being sincere, anyways guts go have fun"

The walk out together and I turn my attention back to Nicole, at least we have this place for ourselves before the therapist passes by.
