DESTINED

CHAPTER 23

It's a new day, I wake up besides Kyle. He's still sleeping soundly and I sneak out on him before he wakes up. Its still early 7am,still early since the meeting is scheduled at 9am so I have enough time to prepare myself.

I head straight to the bathroom, I fill the bathtub with a warm bubble bath and I slide in as I enjoy the moments.

I take this time to reminisce about my past,family,campus life and I remember Keith , the guy I had a huge crush on but unluckily he never bothers to spare a look at me all my campus life, anyway I ended up with Scott who fucked up in our second year of being together.

I think about Maya and all the good times we had ,the parties, girl's time and every moment of life,then when I think of my family, a pang of pain  surges through my body and I tense. I might be acting all okay but deep down in a sad being , a lonely wolf.its been long ever since I visited my family's graves and I guess I should head there probably next week, it'll be their 3rd anniversary and I can't bring myself to missing that, I usually visit their graves ,place new flowers and talk to them. I know they both watching over me and I wish they would attend my graduation and now that I'm working, my dad would be super happy. I would be helping him cater for my brother's fee, but all the same life has to move on.

" Can I join you?" I'm awaken from my thoughts and I look up to see Kyle looking all cute in his towel just covering the lower sides of his body. He surely knows how to turn me on. His abs are protruding from his chest and I watch in awe as his muscles flex when he moves towards where I am.

I nod to him to assure him that he can join me. We end up spending more time just playing with water and scrubbing each other's backs. We make love in the tub and it's the best moments of my life.

Once we done, Kyle carries me back to our room and helps me with wiping my body dry, helps me apply lotion in my body .When I make to pick an official black fitting official dress,with a matching black blazer,  he hold my hand and hands me his sweatpants.i give him that " what the fuck " look and he smiles mischievously at me. I know that look ,he has something fishy up to his sleeves.
" Sorry babe ,there's no meeting today"
"What do you mean there's no meeting when you clearly told me, the meeting was cancelled and it was to take place today?" I cease my brows at him
" It was  just my idea babe, I'm sorry, I knew you'll not accept it when I just asked you to accompany me here, so I made up all these business trip thing so that we can have some lone time with you, I wanted a quiet environment where I can confess to you what I've been holding back ever since the first day we met" he says with no break and I'm left standing, looking at him confused.

I don't know if I'm to be happy he took me to Ethiopia, we have rnjoyed the last few days with him,he has made sure I had all the traveling documents, paid for the fucking flight in the name of business trip and here he is  confessing that it was all a plan.
" Why couldn't you just tell me the truth Kyle you know this is not fair at all, all this while I have been thinking it's a business trip" I complain
" Look at me babe, im sorry, considering the fact that we have not been talking ever since Natalie's incident ,I just wanted us to have an ample time so that I can explain everything to you,if I invited you over to my house , you'd still have refused, please forgive me",he gives me that puppy look  and I have no option than to forgive him,he look cute when he pouts and whines like a small kid.
" Okay I forgive you, but please next time just ask me nicely ,I can't turn you down"
" Yaay, that's my girl,come give me a kiss" he carries me off my feet and gives me a light kiss on my lips.
" Now out on this sweat pants we gonna spent the morning here with you watching movies and order room service after then, we gonna go out I have a surprise for you" I shriek in response an dhig him tightly.
"Thanks for everything "
" It's nothing babe, anything for you" he winks playfully at me .

Like Kyle suggested, we spent the rest of the morning eating popcorns while watching " always be my maybe" my favorite movie, I've watched it like a thousand times and when kyke asks me to choose a movie ,I immediately choose that, he constantly complains but he still watches it, it's not like he has a choice either, I'm a bully and I always get what I want.

Kyle suggested I go with a casual wear, u rummage through my suitcase and decide to go with my blue high waist ripped jeans, a white designer crop top, kaligraphed " I don't give a damn" , I finish my look with white converse.

Kyle is in a blue jeans, a white t-shirt and white sport shoes, we matching and I smile when I imagine the "couple goals" I used to only hear about back in campus. Kyle said we going for a road trip and I'm super excited about it.

We walk out of the hotel room and head towards the Lamborghini parked in a private parking spot in the hotel's compound, we're holding hands and laughing like new couple in town we are, when we reach at the car, Kyle cusses " ooh shit I forgot the car keys"
He says about going back for them in the hotel room and I nod absently while on my phone. I snap a pic and post it on my Instagram account with a caption " enjoy life while you still young" with smiley emoji

Kyle takes a while and I wonder is car keys can take that long so I decide to go check up in him. I push the door open and that's when I'm met with the worst moment of my life.
