DESTINED

CHAPTER 11

"hey I'm Dwain your new neighbor" the guy at the door says.
" Ooh hey,Dwain, I'm Nicole it's nice to meet you" I say back to him
" Nicky who's at the door" Maya shouts back in the living room.
" Our new neighbor Dwain"
" Welcome him in ,are just going to let him stand at the door?" Maya scolds me
" Ooh yeah , Dwain welcome in "
"Thank you"
Once Dwain is in ,he plops on the couch and I close the door behind me as I head for the couch across his.
" So Dwain this is my flatmate and my best friend Maya"
" It's nice meeting you Dwain" Maya says and they shake hands
" So Dwain coffee or juice"I ask him after
" A glass of water will do"he says
"Sure and we were just about to make dinner mind if stay back and have dinner with us,it'll be a good time to get to know each other now that we're immediate neighbours?"I ask him and he nods

I leave Maya and Dwain in the living room and head to my room. I change into sweat pants and a baggy T-shirt and wash my make up off from my face. I go straight to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
After thirty minutes I'm done preparing dinner and Maya helps me set the table and we in silence .
After dinner we decide to watch a short movie on Netflix as we chat.
At 10pm ,Dwain excuses himself and heads to his house.
By 10:30 I'm already in bed and so is Maya.

Dwain
I just moved in today and I'm super tired.
It's already noon ,my neighbourhood is silent ,I guess everybody's at work.
I do the unpacking and by 4 I'm relaxing on the couch watching Netflix and eating popcorns.
I text Caren and ask her what time she'll come to see me.
Caren is my younger sister,we've been close but ever since she got a job in that famous company we've not seen each other of late I miss her already. She told me she'll be home by 5 so she will check on me on her way home so I'm expecting her.
By seven she calls and says something came up and she'll come over the following day.
Since I've nothing else to do I decide to go check on my new neighbors.
I knock on the door and a girl opens it. I'm staring at her,she's an epitome of beauty, she's in a tight skirt that's hugging her body ,her hips are protruding and I can say she has a nice figure.
I'm struck by her beauty but I don't show her.
When she welcomes me in I didn't expect she'd be living with her friend. I wanted us to have a moment and maybe get to know each other but her friend choose this time to ruin my plans.
It's 10pm when I excuse myself and head to my house,it's already late plus I didn't want to waste their time, they have work tomorrow.
The following day when Caren walks I hug her like my life depends on it, God knows how much I've missed my sister as we sit to chat and catch up I tell her about my new neighbors.
" By the way I met my new neighbors yesterday, Nicole and Maya" I say excitedly and smile when I mention Nicole's name,for sure that girl will be the death of me, I'm having a huge crush on her.
" You mean Nicole,the Nicole I know or which one?she asks
"Well we can go and you see for yourself " I say to her and with that we head to Nicole's place this time Maya opens the door.
" Nicole,come over here ,Dwain brought his sister along"Maya shouts at her.
When Nicole comes to where we are she stares at Caren and I join the dots maybe they know each other from their work place.
" Hey Caren,you didn't tell me your brother is my immediate neighbour?" She asks whilst hugging her.
She says hae to me and same to Maya and turns her attention to Caren.
" So we were just preparing ourselves to go to the club, girls night out, you know ,mind to join us?"she winks at her
" Yeah no problem ,it's Friday and loosening up ourselves ain't a bad idea, I'm in for it", Caren chirps in.
" What about me can I join you guys?" I ask jokingly
"No,this is girl's night out Mr Dwain" Maya shouts on her way out of the living room.
" I don't have clothes for the occasion" Caren says
" Come ,I'll give you one of my dresses,were just the same size ,you can't lack something to put on" Nicole says to her
" Okay girls I guess I'll see you tomorrow maybe" I ask and they nod with that I head back to my house.
I've nothing else to do and I'll be bored in the house so I decide to prepare myself I need a drink and it's in the club.
After a few minutes I slide into my car and head straight to "club Leviticus"
Exactly where my sister texted me, where they would be with her. I don't really know what my sister's plans are but anything for her. We've been through a lot with her by my side and like the big size she was she made sure I was okay and I never lacked anything I'd do anything for her, even taking a bullet for her she was just my angel on earth.

I don't really know what she's holding against Nicole, but I'll do what she asked me to do despite who would deny such a beauty, Nicole's beauty is worth risking for, and this is the only chance I have to be with her,so I'll definitely go with Caren's idea. I park my car outsider before I walk into the club,its fully packed but I don't struggle spotting my sister, she's seated with both Maya and Nicole on a table furthest from the other side of the club and she winks at me.
