CHAPTER 22

I try to wake up and I feel arms on my waist. I face palm myself as events of last night flow in my head. After we made love I remember him whispering " I love you" in my ears.

He woke me up thrice at night  and we made love. I'm sore right now but he has snaked his arms around my waist protectively. When I check at my phone on the night stand it's already 9am and I tense.

He was supposed to have a meeting at 9:30am, my alarm was to ring at exactly 7:30am  but I heard none. I make to sneak from his grasp but he tightens his arms around me and groans sleepily.
" Why do you want to sneak on me"he asks huskily
I love the sound of his husky morning voice
" I wanted to use the toilet but I can't move"
He laughs heartily and says" you could've just woken  me up Instead of sneaking around"
" You were sleeping soundly and I didn't want to wake you up"
" I wasn't sleeping I was silently watching you sleep, you look beautiful in your sleep"  I blush and pinch his nose.
He lets me use the toilet and when I come back he's still in bed and I stare at him with the " wtf " look.
" I switched off your alarm, I know you wondering but the meeting was cancelled till tomorrow" I sigh and release the breathe I have been holding
" So today we gonna have the day to ourselves just me and you and we will go for swimming I hope you carried your swimming costumes"
I nod and I excuse myself to go to the bathroom he later joins me and we end up having sex in the shower again.
Kyle is so sweet and I wish we could spend time like this forever.
We order for room service, they change the sheets. Take our breakfast and we spent the rest of the time watching movies.
After lunch he suggest we pass by the store to get the emergency pills, as much as I love him and he loves me back we don't want getting kids before marriage , despite that has always been my dream to get kids when the right time comes.
" By the way we should visit a gynaecologist soon and discuss on the best family planning methods we won't be using emergency pills every time we mess up"
"Ooh yeah we should" I answer absently
" Babe why are you so quiet today, are you regretting something or? You're just in your own world and that is worrying me,did I do something to offend you?" He asks
" No you didn't offend me I'm just worried about something"
" Tell me, you know your problems are also mine and since you finally mine I'll do anything to see you happy you're my priority right now"
That makes me smile and it evaporates the worries I had.
" Nothing big to worry about I was just worried about us you know"
" Ooh what about us?"
" You know what I mean, you're my boss, we just had sex and that's something weird to me"
"Don't worry honey I love you that's all that matters, and I'm not going to leave you just because we had sex,it was not intentional we both had feelings which we couldn't control, and to be sincere I've loved you ever since the day we bumped into each other the first time, you were this fierce and I loved that side of you"
I chuckle when I remember the incident
" Ooh sorry about that day I'm just bitter about life and sometimes I don't always control my anger"
" What makes you bitter tell me?"
" That's a story for another day, babe" the word babe just pops out of my mouth and it sounds odd
"Aawh you just called me babe, I'm flattered by the way, anyway let that not stress you I love you with your flaws and your imperfections,no one's perfect but together we can perfect our imperfections, the sex was just a bonus not an accident in fact I love you more "
" I love you too Kyle Parker"
" Come here and hug me"
I move to hug him and he kisses me, the kiss is slow and sweet, we pull out after a few minutes and I smile to myself. At last I got someone who genuinely loves me.
The rest of the drive to the swimming pool is silent.
We have your lunch in the restaurant and Kyle pays. He has a taste of everything.
The swimming pool is a private one so it's not full when we finally decide to cook our bodies it's just the two of us.
After swimming for a while, we decide to call it a day and head straight to the hospital, we're directed to the  gynaecologist's office and he takes us through  the procedure. He advises and checks in my womb and  for any complications. I'm all fit and good, he takes us through different birth control methods and we finally settle for one method.
After the meeting we head back to our hotel room . The day ends well after Kyle takes me out for dinner, we head back to the hotel room afterwards and rest early in order to prepare for the next day, we share Kyle's bed since we now in a serious relationship.
