CHAPTER 57

Nicole's POV

I'm in my own world, a world of fantasy, a world full of good imaginary things

I'm walking down a path, full of overgrown grass, thicket and bush, there are beautiful flowers at the other side of the Field

There are no people, no birds, no animals and no insects except for a beautiful butterfly, roaming around the flowers ,such for nectar I guess.

I'm walking aimlessly, my beautiful white dress is being flown away by the wind , my hair is flowing freely on my bare back and the sight of it being flown by the wind makes me smile to myself.

I'm wondering why there are no people around this place, where there's no one around except me but as  long as I'm fine I'm okay.

I start walking towards the flower garden, I want to pluck one of the flowers and have a smell of it, I want to smell the fragrance.

The pink flowers are what I want to pluck, pink is my favorite color.

I start walking towards where the flowers are

I'm hearing voices call my name but they are far away, away from me , the voice is being swallowed by the strong winds and I brush off the idea maybe I'm in my own imaginations

I pluck one if the flowers and place it on my nose, it smells nice.

I look at the further end of the flower and I spot a small stream flowing by, I suddenly feel thirsty I want to go take some water, my throat is becoming thirsty as I walk towards the river

Suddenly, I fall down just when I'm a few metres from reaching the stream , I try moving my legs but they're stuck in the mud, I wonder where the mud has come from.

I'm dying if I don't get to the stream faster I might die, I don't want to die not just yet, I had a lot to do before my day finally comes, I'm dying, no this change be true.

Suddenly I see someone at the far end from where the flowers were,he's calling me. He is trying to tell me to move from the mud and go yow where he is.

I'm struggling to keep my eyes awake, my throat is burning, very hot and thirsty, I want some water but my voice can't be easily heard.

I'm not strong enough, I know I'm going to die, so I just skip back and wait for my time. But suddenly the guy at the other side moves the other side and tries to pull me from the mud, I'm shaking hard.

"Kyle" I mumble

So he is my savior, the one who saved me.

I suddenly stop shaking and I'm all calm.

" Water, water please"

After the cold water goes down my throat I suddenly feel dizzy and I sink back into deep  sleep

Kyle

Nicole is shaking so hard that I'm even scared to look at her , I try holding her to the bed but she's so much strong.

"Kyle"
  
She mumbles and I look at her, she seems to be in so much  pain.

Just then the doctor walks in and moves to her, he signals me to move from the bed so that he can handle her.

He draws some medicine  from the bottle and gives it to her.

She suddenly stops shaking looks still.

"Water, water please"

After she's given some water, she sinks back into sleep and I give the doctor the " what the fuck just happened?"and he give me the " I'm just going to explain everything to you" look

" I'm so sorry you had to witness that but let me assure you, that's a step in her recovery, she needed someone to talk to, and you did the very best, she was dying, she was in a deep sleep where she was dying slowly, she needed someone to call her back the world of life and when you talked to her, she seems to have realised that she was going the wrong way, she turned back and after turning back, she saw you in her world that's why she mumbled your name, she was shaking because she was scared, and when she asked for water, she had fought enough to be here, she was dying and her throat had suddenly become dry, that cooled her down and she came back to life, all thanks to you Kyle you did a good job"

I stare back at the doctor wondering what he is trying to say ,I'm not satisfied but at least she is alive.

" I gave her some medicine to stop the shaking and some sedatives, she needs to rest for at least three hours before she wakes up,you can all go to your other duties because she'll be asleep for at least three hours you can come back later, I guess she will be fine".

After he says that, he heads out and I turn back to stare at the girls

" What that was so close,I'll stay back with her until she wakes up "

Maya says and I just nod, I need to see what to do with Cate.

"I'll to the house and shower, change then bring you something to change into you look like a mess and so is me,I think I'll meet you after an hour?" Shillah says and walks out

"Thanks Maya, thanks for staying back, I need to finish up something with Jayden before I come back, I'll spend the night with her"

" I understand Kyle, despite Nicole is my sister and a great friend of mine, I'll do anything for her, you go after you come I'll also head back home and get some sleep, I look like a walking dead"

When she says that we both chuckle, I pull her into a hug ,that is what we both want right now.

After we pull out, I walk out of the hospital.

I reach my car and slide in, I face palm myself and try think at what just happened in the past few days, I sigh as I bring the engine to life and drive outside the hospital to my dad's house.

I call Jayden and inform him to bring Cate with him, maybe dad will know how to deal with her, or maybe we need to hear from her side, Natalie can't be trusted.
