"Amelia, stop being so dramatic!" Link bit back at his pregnant girlfriend.
"I'm not being dramatic Atticus." Amelia calmly states not wanting her blood pressure to rise.
"Mels, I'm not cheating on you I would never. I was pulled into an emergency this guys knee was bent almost all the way around in the opposite direction. I just didn't think to call you, I thought you'd be asleep by now."
"Please" scoffed Amelia.
"What makes you think I'd do that? What's this really about?" Questioned her boyfriend who really didn't know what was actually causing his girlfriend to jump to conclusions.
"It's about you cheating on me!" Amelia stated defensively. Link went to engulf his girlfriend in a hug, to only be met with her pushing him off of her.
"Why'd you pull away?" Link asked shocked, she always loved affection. "You know I love you right?"
"The fact that you say you love me doesn't make everything better!" Amelia shouted losing her temper.
"Amelia what is going on?" Asked her boyfriend even more shocked than he was before.
"You don't want to touch me anymore because I'm all fat. And you've found someone else to have sex with." Huffed out Amelia with tears stinging her eyes. Link's eyes softened, his girlfriend was insecure about her body and that pained him.
"You are so not fat, you are gorgeous, you're growing our baby." Link tried to reassure his girlfriend.
"No I'm not Link! You wouldn't even touch me the other night! My boobs are huge, my hands are swollen making it hard to do surgery, I've gained nearly 28 pounds, and to top it all off I've got terrible stretch marks" Amelia shouted in tears.
"Amelia...those things are all normal. Your as beautiful as when I first met you. The only reason I wouldn't touch you was because you woke me up at 3am to have sex and I had a surgery at 6am. And Carina said you had a healthy weight gain." Link tried to be comforting and soft.
"Like you'd know. You haven't been to any of the appointments." Scoffed Amelia, about to pick another fight with her boyfriend.
"You never asked me to come" Defensively answered Link.
"Well, you should've asked. I was petrified and had to go alone." His girlfriend answered back playing with her hands.
"Oh, Amelia I didn't know. You should have told me you were scared. Of course I want to go to the appointments with you I just didn't know if I should ask. I thought maybe you wanted to do it yourself." Link walked over to his girlfriend and tightly held her while she sobbed into his chest.
"I'm so sorry Link."
"No I am, I had no idea how you were feeling. You are so beautiful and gorgeous and I'd have sex with you all day if I could." Amelia giggled to Link's response. "But most of all you are so so so strong, there is no one else I'd want our son to have as a mother."
"I don't deserve you."
"Yes you do." Link said as he kissed the top of her head.
