"Tomorrow's your first day of school, are you excited?" Amelia asked her daughter as she settled the girl down for bed."No." Addison meekly said.
"What are you worried about?" Amelia asked her daughter, only to receive a shrug in response.
"I'll miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too, but it'll be like when you did daycare at the hospital. You'll just do more learning then you do at the hospital." Amelia comforted. "You know, your brothers first day of school he was really really scared."
"What?" Addison gasped, not believing her brother could be afraid of anything.
"Yep, he would not stop crying after we dropped him off. I think it's because he was going to miss you. It's okay to be scared, Addie." She reached out to move a strand of her daughters hair away from her face, placing a kiss on her daughters forehead. "Goodnight, I love you, I'll see you in the morning." She closed the door behind her.

"I'm so excited dad, all of my friends are in my class." Scout excitedly said while he shoved a waffle into his mouth.
"That's good, but make sure you stay focused." Link said, internally cringing, he never thought he'd be a dad nonetheless that dad.
"I know, it's going to be awesome though. 3rd grade seems really fun."
"Don't you look adorable." Link mentioned as his daughter and girlfriend walked into the kitchen."Why thank you." Amelia sarcastically said, knowing he directed the comment to their daughter.
"I guess you too."
"Addie, your going to love school so much." Scout commented, his mother asked him last night to really hype school up since his little sister was sacred. "You'll make sooooo many friends, and you'll get to play outside and learn things, and stuff"
"Hmm." Addison hummed reaching out for the plate rested near the usual spot where she eats.
"What are you most excited for?" Scout coaxed, only to receive a shrug. "You get to learn about penguins, you really like penguins."
"Yeah." Mumbled the little girl, until she 'accidentally' spilled her orange juice all over herself. "Oh, looks like I'm messy. I can't go."
"Hmm, not how that works but nice try munchkin." Amelia sighed, getting up to go help her daughter clean up and change into a new outfit. "Come on let's go."
"Ugh." Addison sighed loudly, following her mother.
"She doesn't seem too happy." Scout noted.

"Mom, being dropped off by you is for babies. We can ride the bus, stop worrying." Scout said whilst hugging his mother at the bus stop.
"No, you know what I'll drive you two." Amelia anxiously stated.
"Mom, it's fine if you drop us off you'll never leave, and Addie will refuse to leave your side. We got this right?" Scout looked down at her little sister who was vigorously shaking her head no.
"He's got a point Mia." Link whispered into her ear.
"Okay." Amelia wearily said. "I love you both so so so much, have a happy day." She leaned down to hug each of her children, tears forming in her eyes when she realized her daughter had tears in her eyes.
"Have a good day, hope you guys learn lots." Link said wrapping his arm around his girlfriends waist to ground her.
"Bye." Scout waved back to his parents tightly holding his little sisters hand as the pair walked onto the bus. "We'll sit here. It's not to close to the front and not to far back, it's a nice spot."
