Calum,

You have no idea how great it was to have received a note from you; it's been far too long.

Your writing was great, as always, so don't worry about it.

I can't seem to get you out of my head either, but it's been that way since we first started these notes. Yes, even when you thought resented you.

Have you even met yourself? It's near impossible to get someone like you out of one's mind; believe me, I've tried.

Not that that's a bad thing, of course.

On another note, I'd love to come on a road trip with you. I reckon it'd be a lot of fun, and give us plenty of time to rekindle our friendship.

Did I sound like a cowboy by saying "reckon"?

Anyway, Saturday's good for me. More than good, actually. I've already packed (ridiculous, I know)(don't worry, it's not much- I'm minimalistic when it comes to traveling); whenever you're ready, pick me up.

3 AM tonight, four in the afternoon Friday, whenever you want.

It took a lot of convincing for me to go on this adventure with you. Not with my mother, but rather myself.

But I know now, that I'm so down for this.

Oh, and I'm cool with the no-dating, no-relationship thing; we were friends first, that should be our priority.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't want flowers when I see you next, though.

I'm just kidding. See? I can pull jokes too.

That is, unless you want to buy me flowers. I certainly wouldn't object to that. I find it cute that you're willing to that for me, it's genuinely sweet (too flirty?)(too flirty)(I'm just messing with you on purpose, I hope you realize that).

-Mel

PS: Ashton bet me ten bucks that you'd fall for me by the end of our roadtrip. Should i just accept his money now, or...?

Just kidding (again).

But really.
