"There's a party Saturday," Ashton mentions as he types something into his laptop. "Are you gonna go?"
Melanie shrugs. "I don't know, I wasn't invited. Who's throwing it?"
Ashton smirks. "You don't need to be invited, silly. But one of the guys on the team is having it at his place while his parents are out of town. You should go, it'll be fun."
"If I do wind up going I'll just follow you around like a lost puppy all night." Melanie sighs, spinning around in her desk chair to see Ashton. It was common for him to come over nowadays, with Luke caught up with Aries and Michael dealing with Calum.
"I don't mind," Ashton smiles. "Besides, it'll be nice to spend time with you somewhere other than school or our houses."
Melanie ponders the idea in her head. "I'll consider it."
"That's all I ask."
