Cat's P.O.V.
I walk down the halls when the last bell of the day rings. Finding Cole needs to happen. For something to do with my best friend I need to talk to him. I see Cole talking to Oliver down the hall, I walk up to both of them with a smile.
"Oliver, Cole." I nod at them.
"What do you want?" Oliver asks.
"I need Cole." I say.
"See ya." Olive pats his shoulder and walks away.
"What do you want?" He groans.
"Geeze." I step back, "I just wanted to know about the rumors."
He's definitely not the nicest.
"What rumors?" He asks.
I smirk at his reaction, "What did Chloe tell you?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "I don't remember." He lies.
"Oh come on!" I yell, "Just tell me."
"Something about a boyfriend." He mumbles.
"You are acting like a shy little boy." I laugh.
"I'm going." He turns toward the door.
"It's not true!" I yell.
He stops in his tracks, "What?"
"She doesn't have a boyfriend, who was it?" I ask.
"His name is Elijah." He shrugs. My heart sinks.
"Elijah?" I breathe.
He nods, "Who is he then?"
My mouth moves but nothing comes out. Charlie's ex is obsessed with trying to ruin her life. Ever since they broke up Elijah had it out for her until he moved.
"Don't worry about it." I say. He'd probably beat his ass.
"Why?" He asks.
I walk away with out answering, "Cat!" He calls.
I find Madi at her locker, "Madi, Elijah is here."
"What?" She closes her locker.
"Chloe and him are teaming up against Charlie." I say.
"I'll call Charlie, she needs to know." She says.
I nod and we walk out to the parking lot. When we get in the car I see Cole on his phone, sitting on his bike. He's hot, but he's also Charlie's.
"Okay, I'm calling." Madi taps my arm.
"Put it on speaker." I tell her.
She clicks the button and sets it on her lap.
"Hello?" Her voice answers.
I missed her so much.
"Dude!" Madi squeaks, "You need to listen."
I keep my eyes on the road as we speak to Charlie.
"What?" She asks.
"Elijah and your sister are plotting and it's not good." I say calmly.
"What has she done now?" She asks, sounding mad.
"So She started a rumor about you and Elijah dating and Cole knows." Madi says casually.
"What!?" She asks.
"I'm so sorry C." I say sadly.
"If Elijah and my sister are working together this isn't going to pass well." She says
"You'll survive." I encouraged.
"There's an other call." She says.
"Okay. We love you!" We both say in sync.
