Charlie's P.O.V.

When I get off of the bike, I give him the helmet with a smile. I don't have to hang around him much but if I did, I would be nice.

"Thank you." I say, "I know you don't have to take me."

He shrugs while mumbling something.

"Hm?" I ask.

He shakes his head, "Nothing."

"See you later." I wave.

"Later?" He asks.

"Shut up." I laugh.

Cole's P.O.V.

"Thank you," She says, "I know you don't have to take me."

I shrug, "But I do."

"Hm?" She hums.

I shake my head with a smile, "Nothing."

"See you later." She waves.

Wait, "Later?" I ask.

She looks behind her while walking, "Shut up."

I chuckle to myself as I watch her walk away again. God.

Get her.

No.

I follow in shortly after, my teacher won't be happy. What do I care? I laugh to myself while walking down the hall.

Oliver's P.O.V.

Playing with a pencil, I notice the class door open. Of course Cole walks in and takes a seat. I tap his shoulder, making him look at me.

"Where were you?" I ask.

"Charlie." Is all he says.

I roll my eyes, he really likes this girl. She wasn't a bad looking girl, just not my type. The way Cole has changed for her, it's hard to believe. What I don't get is, how I'm the only one that sees it. There is Cat and Madi who might, Cole doesn't even acknowledge them. I should talk to them and see what Charlie thinks of Cole.

When the bell rings for lunch, I walk to Cole and wait for him to speak.

"What's up?" He asks

"I was thinking we could eat with Charlie and her friends." I pitch, hopeful.

"What? No." He says sternly.

Is he bipolar? I should've noticed by now. He likes her but doesn't want to see her?

"What? Why?" I ask.

"I just can't be around her." He says, closing his eyes.

"You take her to school." I point out.

"It's different, I can't... do anything." He shrugs.

He can't resist himself. I begin to laugh, now noticing how much he likes her. It's still weird, he hasn't like many girls or anybody really.

"Shut up." He shoves my shoulder.

"Just today?" I beg.

"Why? You like one of her friends?" He asks, teasing.

I shake my head, "I never really thought about it."

"Fine, just today." He gives in.

I cheer excitedly, it's for him really. We walk to the cafeteria and I spot the girls chatting.

"Hey, can we join?" I tap Cat's shoulder.

She shrugs, "Sure?"
